The writers do Mike so DIRTY! so I wrote out some headcanons because I love his actor and his concept.

Mike keeps memories FOREVER. Literally has several binders of photos, patches, drawings, receipts, movie tickets, etc. a scrapbook but without all the work

When he started picking out his own clothes, he didn’t ever see the need for accessories. Eddie had to give him a chain or two for him to kinda get it.

Stole some of Nancy’s nail polish once, had to ask Will for help, thinking that because he was an artist, he would be better at it. He was not.

Plays with his hair

Started listening to metal, but liked post-punk better (called new musick at the time) because he looks like a guy into slower songs

Doodles poorly on the margins of his paper

He was always best at English, liking poetry the best.

When he first met robin, he thought she was the COOLEST. (Mainly to do with her jewelry, and how it clashed with her scoops uniform)

Oh my goodness, so excited for this! But I have on recommendation. Try not to enforce any strong gender roles in mlm couples. Like, when there’s an obviously “weaker” one and a stronger macho guy. That usually comes of fetishy and weird, but I see a lot of fic writers do it.
