(sorry for such a long post, i just thought this was all really cool and wanted to share.)
apparently, the videos with all the more cryptic stuff (and some more fantastic edits) are all edited by the same person (as far as i can tell), and that person is Nerd Fiction aka Marcus.
and i went to his twitter, just to see if he had said anything about the codes and
“now i’m attempting to stop the Unus Annus clock from within” and “Memento Salvare” were super interesting to me, especially given the things we’ve seen in unus annus videos.
ok so starting with the clock part, back in the video “Our Fans Try to Scare Us with Their Homemade Creepypasta” there was a flash of this:
and then there’s today’s “I couldn’t stop it. Will I die with the machine?” code, which i assume the machine is a clock, but idk.
and the “memento salvare” i think means something like “remember to salvage/save.”
and at the end of it all, i think this is all just poking fun at the fact nobody can stop the clock, even if we try we can’t stop it. i don’t think there’s much of a deeper meaning other than just giving us another layer of the channel with codes and hints all for fun. either way, i love the videos Marcus has edited so far and i appreciate the work he’s done on the channel :)
