sympathize with their reluctance. when your family tells you you’ll always be their little girl, don’t tell them otherwise. when your friends tell you it’s just so hard when they’ve known you one way for so long, tell them you’ll never be upset with them no matter how long it takes or how many times they “mess up”. when your coworkers tell you it’s just so easy to think of you as a girl because you look like one, tell them you guess that makes sense, it’s only natural.
