Hilton Orlando Hotel and Cruise Deal Offer
So, I just got off the phone with a Hilton associate to get a 3-nights Orlando vacation to stay at any of the Orlando Hilton properties for $499 ($561 incl. tax). Must stay before November 2018. I will receive 2 tickets for a 3-nights cruise to the Bahamas, after I hear a 2 hours presentation from the one of the resorts they are currently promoting. And they will provide me a $200 credit to be used for 1-night at any Hilton properties. Must go on cruise within one year from the date of the presentation and cannot go on the cruise until after 3 days from the presentation date. Ticket has no value when it’s not used and cannot be transferred or replace if it’s lost.
Things to consider:
I paid $499 total. Hilton hotels average about $99/nt = $99 x 3 nts  = $297 total. So I spent $202 for 2 tickets for a 3-nights cruise to the Bahamas with Royal Carribean ($101/person). Cheapest deal I found was for $186/person with 2nd person 50% off and $26 onboard credit ($126.50/person). *** Good deal! Total save $50 on cruise plus $200 a night stay at any Hilton property).
Depending which day I go, I may need to pay more if I go on one of the holidays -- around $129 extra = $499 + $129 = $628 cost; So, this is like me spending $331 for 2 tickets for a 3-nights cruise to the Bahamas with Royal Carribean ($165.50/person). ***Okay deal! I would overpay $78 on the cruise, but the night free at Hilton property would offset this.
**Of course, these hotel and cruise information are based on the cheapest possible deals; Therefore, there are rooms for us to make the best of this offer. I just hope I don’t lose out since the margin of opportunity is actually pretty tight! I will follow-up after I actually go on this trip next year!

Day 5: Winter East Coast Road Trip - Montreal
Today was so exhausting for me. Our rental car for some reasons do not perform well in snowy days. I found that out today. My car skidded so many times today. I almost got into at least 3 accidents. It was so scary. The car did not want to break when it should. It kept swerving on ice. It did not want to accelerate when I want it to. It was horrible and mentally exhausting to dealt with ALL DAY LONG! Then it was snowing almost all day today until around 6 PM, which I would be happy for - I think if I had a different rental car.
Rental Car - Dodge Journey
I ordered a four-wheel drive to rent and I'm not sure if that's what they gave me. I didn't see anyone else having as much problem as I was - driving in the snow. Even the compact cars were doing just fine. Maybe it was me that is not used to driving in the snow. Anyway, I'm just so unhappy with this car situation because I almost got into accidents numerous times today.
On a more happy note, we visited the St. Joseph Oratory, Costco - Montreal, Kawazaka (Middle Eastern Restaurant). Back to the hotel and back to the U.S. and off to Boston, M.A.
