Human Alana edits

Please do NOT share these edits without asking me first! I was away from Tumblr for a few years and found a lot of my Disney edits shared on other websites without credit. Please don't do this. These took a lot of work and I'd appreciate you including a source.

I miss making Disney edits, so I decided to get back into it by making a human Alana. These will be helpful with roleplays taking place on land, since I like to include a little icon. I think they turned out great! I used Thumbelina's dress with the colors altered to fit Alana's color scheme and a flower from Giselle as a hair accessory. I can't wait to make more edits of her as a human! The urge to make human versions of all of Ariel's sisters is tempting, but I need to stay focused on Alana for now.

Alana's Character & Personality

Alana is the second princess of Atlantica to King Triton and Queen Athena. She's twenty-one-years-old in the prequel. Alana represents the Black Sea. Out of all the sisters, she's the most interested in beauty and health. As such, Alana's favorite food is low-salt coral blossom stew. She enjoys singing, dancing and dressing up. Yet, Alana's favorite hobbies are picking wildflowers and making her own beauty creams/products. Due to this, her sisters say she's glamorous. More than anything, Alana can't stand bad hair days. Her biggest fear is having scaly skin because she works hard to gain a natural glow. Although she speaks of her looks often, Alana isn't vain or selfish by any means. Her favorite color is violet. Alana's favorite music genre is jazz. Her favorite instrument is the tambourine. Finally, she's closest with Aquata.

Ahlaniah Rebooted

ooc; (( I can't access my old Alana roleplay blog (@ahlaniah) due to Yahoo deleting the email account for that blog. I've also lost access to my Mozenrath rp blog (@mczenrath) and Cassim rp blog (@kingcfthieves). I'm honestly more upset about losing those last two blogs because I put the most effort into their stories, but it is what it is. It's my fault for taking such a long hiatus.

I've been away from writing and roleplaying for over four years now. I used to roleplay a LOT on Tumblr. It was a great escape from my reality back then, until it wasn't. The person I used to live with was making my life a living hell and it was only getting worse. I had to leave writing behind to find my own place and heal. It's been a lot of hard work, but I earned my privacy and I've been living alone for a few years now. It's taken some time for me to feel ready to write again. It took me nearly a year just to realize I can watch whatever I want on TV now. It's taken even longer than that to regain the passion I used to have for my hobbies. Someone used to tell me how I was wasting all of my time with roleplaying and writing in general. It wasn't a "productive" hobby. Even if it made me happy, it was made it into something to be ashamed of. It honestly makes me a little mad that it took me this long to get back to it. I'm tired of trying to reminisce my roleplay characters and their stories to friends (who are sweet enough to listen) when really... all I want to do is continue their stories. I don't want them to wither away in my memories. I had so much passion for writing these characters and I want them back so badly.

I'm out of practice, so my writing may be "shaky" at first, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. I'm hoping to better develop my writing style this time around. I'll probably take some time writing out headcanons, backstories, and getting myself organized first.

I know nobody's going to read this but it felt good to write out. I'm excited to get to know my Alana all over again. ))
