I sat on the leather couch in our shared home, tubing my guitar. I always wanted to pursue a career as a singer songwriter but life took a turn of events. not in a bad away of course but could you just imagine...?

I never played for anyone, the only person to hear me play was my dad. he taught me how to play when I was younger, learn chords and everything around a guitar.

I usually played when nobody was around, of course rhea seen my guitar laying around s couple times and asked me to play for her, I was always nervous and pushed it off until the next time.

my fingers brushed against the strings as my foot tapped to the beat, i started to sing along to the song i was strumming to. i didn't hear rhea walk in, normally I would but my mind was so wrapped around getting all the chords right.

"for someone who's still learning, it sounds you've got a hang of it"

I rest my head on the guitar, quite embarrassed.

"I didn't hear you walk in" i mumbled to her.

I can hear her laugh as her footsteps get closer to me, she sat down, rubbing my back.

"you've got a pretty voice, soothing even."

"embarrassing even" I finally face my head to look at her, she had a cute little smile on her face.

"play me that song before bed, I'll fall asleep I swear" she laughs a bit, crossing her arms behind her head, her laugh was contagious, made me smile a bit.

"yeah okay"

she laid her head on my shoulder as her hand strums down on the strings, not that she knew how to play but to just hear the sound.

(A/N: I know this isn't really what you asked for but I tried to put a bit of singing and guitar because it's what I do?? hopefully you like it? it's short I'm sorry I just needed to post something!!)
