in genersal the whole trope of a cis woman crossdressing by like, throwing on a mens outfit and cutting their hair, or even just putting it in a ponytail ???, and then suddenly being percieved as a guy and treated with more respect is an insidious one 2 me. like the one because it bfeeds ino the idea that transmascs/trans men transition towards privelege and two that they can and will always pass / achieve male privelege with minimal effort. cant help but feel that this sort of trope has contributed to the way people seem to think trans dudes have it easier when it comes to passing. do u guys know what im talking about
