Today is January 5th
Everyone, take a second to wish everyone's favorite angel, the girl crazy, bright spirirted, amazingly talented Michael Cuccione a very Happy Birthday. Just because he is not here physically to celebrate his birthday doesn't mean he's not celebrating it in spirit.
Wish him a happy birthday in prayer, make a post about him on your Tumblr (or Twitter) or make a major impact and for his birthday make a small donation to "The Michael Cuccione Foundation".
Also send some messages to us in tribute to our favorite guy, taken from us entirely too soon.
We love you Michael.

New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys, The Police, Beavis and Butthead… hey, they all came back and reunited successfully. So, why can’t “2Ge+her” – the MTV faux-boy band? Alex Solowitz, who played the role of bad boy Mickey Parke, believes the time is now.
“It would just be funny to get back together and do a show,” Solowitz said in an interview via Skype on “The Ralphie Radio Show.” “We’re no spring chickens anymore, but I think that would even add to the comedy of it all.”
That is how the “band” started out: as a comedy. The whole premise of “2Ge+her” was to spoof the boy band craze of the late 90’s. But after the made-for-MTV movie aired, the popularity of the five guys grew off the charts. The project spawned an additional two TV seasons and two albums. Fans still remember the lyrics to songs like “U + Me = Us (Calculus)” and “Say It (Don’t Spray It).” Solowitz wants to recapture that magic, and the rest of the crew is down for another go at it.
“Me and Kevin (Farley) were at lunch at The Newsroom (restaurant in Los Angeles), and we were like, ‘Dude, we should totally do a reunion show,’” recalled Solowitz. “He was like, ‘Cool,’ and I was like, ‘Alright, pose for a picture!’”
Solowitz posted the photo to his Facebook page and instantly received likes, comments, and friend requests. The light bulb that had gone off in his head moments ago wasn’t turning off anytime soon. Immediately, it was his goal to rally the troops on the social networks and grab MTV’s attention. So far, so good. TMZ and CNN blogged about the story already, and Solowitz revealed during the interview that MTV has also been contacted directly regarding some type of unlikely comeback for this unlikely band.
In addition to Solowitz and Farley, Noah Bastian and Evan Farmer are also on board for the possible reunion. Not joining the group will be the youngest, Michael Cuccione. The teen heartthrob lost a battle with cancer in 2001. Solowitz said that he plans to perform at least one live show in addition to the TV return, with a portion of the proceeds from the concert going to a foundation set up in Cuccione’s honor to fund cancer research.

The hardest part of breaking up is ... finding the right time to reunite?
MTV's fake boy band 2gether is hoping to reunite for a documentary parody, TMZ reports.
Alex Solowitz aka Mickey Parke aka the "bad boy" of the group tells the site that he and the remaining members of 2gether want to film a faux documentary chronicling the band's reunion and work on a new song. Michael Cuccione, who played QT, died in 2001 after a long battle with cancer, but Solowitz tells TMZ a major amount of the proceeds from the project would go to Cuccione's foundation.
2gether was MTV's first original TV movie when it premiered in 2000, and was turned into a TV series soon after. Although fake, the band released albums, toured with Britney Spears and had notable hits including "U + Me = Us (Calculus)," "Say It (Don't Spray It)" and "The Hardest Part of Breaking Up (Is Getting Back Your Stuff").
According to Solowitz, the next step is getting MTV and 2gether's creators to sign off on the project. "Ok, here's the plan I need everybody, all of you to tell everyone about this. We need this to go insanely viral so MTV can't turn us down," Solowitz wrote on his Facebook page. "You all have done an amazing job of blowing this up, let's take it to the next level!"

MTV's fake boy band 2gether plots comeback
Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block have revived their music careers with successful North American tours, and a European leg on the horizon. But there’s one more boy band plotting a comeback.
2gether - the fake MTV group behind hits like “U + Me = Us (Calculus)” and “The Hardest Part of Breaking Up Is Getting Back Your Stuff” - is hoping to reunite.
The group’s resident “bad boy,” Alex Solowitz, told TMZ that the band has discussed filming a parody documentary, which would capture the band's reunion, as well as a new tune.
On November 9, Solowitz posted to Facebook: “All right peeps, I'm going to need everybody's help far and wide. If you guys want this show to happen it’s going to take a mass group effort. Break out you [sic] old 2gether albums … TELL EVERYONE!!!! We're back.!!!!!!!”
And it seems all the guys are in.
The band heartthrob, Evan Farmer, who currently hosts “CMT’s Top 20 Countdown,” tweeted, “I'm on board!”
Sadly, Michael Cuccione, who played Jason 'Q.T.' McKnight, passed away in 2001 after a long battle with cancer. He was 16 years old.
TMZ reports that 2gether will donate a large sum of their proceeds to his foundation - The Michael Cuccione Foundation for Cancer Research.
Now it looks like the ball is in MTV’s court:
“Think it's time to go knocking on MTV's door,” Solowitz posted to Facebook on Monday. “Let’s see what happens? I really want to thank everyone. This has taken a huge group effort so keep on doin’ it! The more people we get the harder it is for them to turn us down.”
Would you like to see a 2gether reunion?
