Sometimes there are bigger things than soccer

I know I'm not great at updating this blog but I've been kicking myself lately for not posting this earlier.

As a DC United fan, last night’s game was tough. But there were bigger things at stake than earning ourselves another 3 points. I don’t know how many of you are aware about what’s going on with AJ’s son and there are a few articles out there and a whole blog created by Megan DeLaGarza herself that can explain it all better, but little Luca DeLaGarza was diagnosed with a serious heart condition only a few months into being in his mother’s womb. Luca was scheduled to be delivered by c-section earlier today, so when I hear any sort of news from AJ or Megan, I’ll try to post here to keep y’all updated.

In the meantime, visit the blog Megan created to chronicle this journey and send postive vibes to the DeLaGarzas in anyway you can (twitter, instagram, prayers, thoughts, whatever)

Let’s all hope for the best for little Luca and his parents!!
