This is Vova and Slavik's absolute fave band right now. "The Hat" in particular gives Slavik a very confused boner...

Vova, of course, is never confused about his boners. He just takes his ERPH roughly in the Kremlin Armoury, or wrestles a tiger, or throws himself into the icy waters of the Moskva (straight through the ice - Putin's boner can do that).

Four of the five presidential candidates voting - though Mirinov also voted, I guess no one took a picture of him.

Communist candidate Gennady Zyuganov says he voted for “smart and prosperous Russia” as he cast his ballot in the capital.

President Dmitry Medvedev and Russia’s first lady, Svetlana Medvedeva, have voted in Moscow. It took the head of state several attempts for the scanner in the polling box to read his submission.

Presidential hopeful and Lib Dem leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky cast his vote in western Moscow.  He said he felt the voting booth did not provide enough privacy for a secret ballot.

Presidential candidate Sergey Mironov of the Fair Russia party has voted in Moscow.

So, Petersburg ended up passing that law. There will be more on this story, protests and petitions about it, and I'll make sure to post them all here. Thank you for all the support so far. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to find any cute pictures of Vova and Slavik together in a while, but it's elections day this Sunday, so maybe there'll be some then.
