“The Lady Known as Jada Jet” - so this is my take if something was to happen to Jada. Just a little storyline.

Part 1

*takes place 10 months after season 3. Jada, Marquis, and Ryan are having lunch . Marquis is secretly still “Joker” but has been trying to hide out. Jada and Ryan are oblivious to it because they just want to be a family. Here is the first scene*

Jada: So what do you think of the soba noodles baby girl?

Ryan: They are delicious mama *smiles brightly*

Marquis: You know I never noticed before but baby sis, you are definitely mama’s twin

Ryan: I had to get my good looks somewhere. Sorry it skipped you *laughs*

Marquis: oh you got jokes *playfully punches Ryan*

Marquis inner thoughts ~ she thinks she’s better than you because she’s Batwoman, a CEO, and is finally happy

*Marquis shakes his head and makes a disgruntled face*

Jada: *says with concern * Marquis baby, are you good?

*Ryan looks at Marquis worried*

Marquis: Yeah *clears throat* just have a headache…it’s nothing to worry about

Ryan: You sure bro? I can call Mary to check on you…

Marquis: Yeah…she mentioned anyways that I will have headaches as my brain tries to become less “jokery”

Jada: We are here for you

Ryan: Always

Marquis: Thanks

Marquis inner thoughts ~ this bitch thinks you’re weak Marquis. “Always”…she gets a family for three seconds and thinks she is welcomed

Marquis: I think I’m going to go home. I need some sleep plus I told some of my guys I would whoop their ass on the court tonight. Got 10k on it *laughs*

Jada: okay baby, be safe and let us know when you made it. *hugs and kisses Marquis*

Ryan: Yeah…whoop some ass. Show them how my big bro do *does her handshake with Marquis*

*Marquis gets up to leave and looks back and see Ryan and Jada laughing and smiling*

Marquis inner thoughts ~ she’s trying to steal Jada away from you. You have to do something Marquis

*Marquis leaves *

*scene changes to Sophie’s condo, it’s nighttime, Ryan enters*

Ryan: Hey beautiful *gives Sophie a kiss*

Sophie: *sitting on the couch wearing an oversized t-shirt* Hey hun, how was patrol?

Ryan: *goes to the room to undress* Stopped a couple of robberies here and there. Nothing out of the normal for Gotham. How was work? *comes back in basketball shorts and a sports bra*

Sophie: ha

Ryan: That bad?

Sophie: Rich clients pay well but are the worse clients

Ryan: Damn sorry about that. *gives Sophie a forehead kiss* I expected you to be sleep when I got here.

Sophie: I wasn’t going to sleep without my baby and her koala cuddles *winks*

Ryan: Well then come and join me, your girl is tired and I miss my love *gives the Sophie smile*

*Sophie and Ryan are cuddled nicely and sleep when around 4am they hear a noise*

*clank*

Sophie: Ry did you hear that?

Ryan: No…now sleep. Told you not to watch Gotham’s Serial Killers before bed

*clank*

*Ryan now alert*

Sophie: You hear it now?

Ryan: shut up

*clank*

*Sophie grabs her Glock, Ryan grabs her batons as they slowly head towards the kitchen when…*

Alice: Hey RyRy…you finally told Sophie how you feel. *fakes cry* I just love love especially this *gestures to Ryan and Sophie* you are glowing Roomie

Ryan: Alice why the hell are you here?

Alice: I go by Beth now…keep up with the times Batty. I got my life right…can’t say the same about Joker Junior

Ryan: *confused* what?

Alice: Joker Junior…Marquis. How are you CEO of Wayne?

Sophie: Alice

*Alice snaps her head*

Sophie: Beth…why are you here?

Alice: To give a warning to the scarlet hero, word on the street is that Marquis is still baby Joker. The buzzer didn’t work. Apparently Crazy KiKi used her talents to fix it for Marquis so he can be just as insane, maybe more than OG Joker.

Ryan: That has to be a rumor, he’s been well.

Alice: Well I’m just warning you…watch out for that handsome brother of yours.

Sophie: Why did you come all this way to warn Ryan?

Alice: Can’t it be because I got my life right?

Ryan: You’re never that easy

Alice: *looks away from the couple* Because Mary loves you like a sister and that makes you worth care—She deserves to have a sister that’s around

Ryan: She misses you and she deserves to have you as well. She deserves Beth.

Alice: Well *blinks away tears* I got to go. *starts to leave and looks back at the couple* be safe Ryan, Mary isn’t the only one that deserves you…this hell hole of a city definitely needs you *exits*

Sophie: You good Ryan?

Ryan: Yeah, just hope her sources isn’t right

Sophie: yeah…great now I’m up

Ryan: same * mischievously smirks* you know since we are both up…I can think of a way to get us both back to sleep *wiggles eyebrows*

Sophie: *blushes and drops her voice* what you got in mind Ryan Wilder

Ryan: *licks her lips* come to the bedroom and find out *winks at Sophie and heads to the bedroom*

*Sophie follows behind throwing out the t-shirt*

*scene changes to Everyone at Jada’s having dinner*

Mary: Jada this food is amazing, what’s the chef name?

Sophie: Hopefully not Lazlo *rolls her eyes*

Jada: no, not Lazlo…his name is Stefan DeLuca

Mary: I will have to hire him

Luke: For what? Don’t you already have a chef?

Mary: ha ha

Ryan: the food is fantastic mama

Jada: Thank you baby girl…so how is everything going on for each of you

*they start to talk but there voice go to the background as Marquis inner thoughts Take over*

Marquis inner thoughts ~ look at them all smiling, acting as if they belong here. Ryan is just eating this up. This is your world. And Jada, betraying you for your Aladdin like sister. Jada is a weakness for you and Ryan. Yeah, she is a weakness. She needs to go. * maniacal laugh*

*Marquis begins to laugh*

Jada: You good Marquis baby?

Marquis: Oh I’m Great mama, reeeaaaaallll great. *turns to Ryan* how are you baby sis? Enjoying the family

Ryan: *confused* yeah

Marquis: yeah? Finally got a mom that ain’t dead

Jada: Marquis!

Marquis: I’m just stating a fact. She got real cozy with you, I see she still a sucker believing she can finally have her wants

Ryan: excuse me? *starts to get up*

Marquis: you heard me, you been trying to take mommy since you came back into our lives

Jada: Marquis this not the time to act like a jealous brat…apologize to your sister!!

Marquis: and you Jada!!

Jada: *stands up* you better take that bass out your voice Marquis Franklin Jet

Marquis: or what? *takes out gun*

*everyone stands up and get behind Luke and Ryan*

Ryan: Alice was right

Marquis: *smiles* The buzzer didn’t work…well not in the way you hoped. I had a plan for everything baby sis. KiKi, Joker rest her soul, made some tweaks for me. I feel great!!

Luke: Listen bro, you don’t got to this

Marquis: shut the hell up Fox!! You wanna be Ryan’s brother so bad. News flash, your weak. All of you.

Sophie: you really want to say that with a military trained officer, batwoman, and batwing in your face?

Marquis: I liked it better when you was just Ryan’s eye Candy. But to answer your question…yes. One wrong move and baby sis *looks at Jada* gets to join her real mother

Jada: Marquis baby look at me, I know you are still there. Fight it! Fight the battle in your mind

Marquis inner thoughts ~ don’t fight it!! Become like him

Marquis: Shut up!!

Jada: Fight it!!

*Marquis cocks the gun and points at Ryan, Jada jumps in front*

Jada: Marquis no!!

*Jada is shot in the back and tears roll down her eyes. Everyone is stunned as she falls to the ground *

Ryan: mama stay with me

Marquis: *stunned as well* Mama? *shakes his head*

Marquis inner thoughts ~ she was a weakness

Ryan: *looks up at Marquis angrily * you son of a bitch *lunges at Marquis*

Marquis: *laughs* she was a weakness baby sis *smiles* I think this our origin story *looks down at Jada struggling to breathe in Ryan’s arms* Sorry mama but you had to go *he exits*

Ryan: come on mama stay with me *tears roll down her face * Mary what can you do?

Mary: she needs a hospital… I already called them

Jada: *struggling to breathe*

Ryan: *remembering what Sophie told her * I can’t lose you

Jada: *smiles as she coughs up blood*

Sophie: Yeah. It just wasn’t our first meeting. It was actually one of our girls night out that took a turn

Ryan: A very drunkenly turn…

Flashback

*scene changes to the loft*

Mary: Okay…I say we go out tonight. Have a ladies night. Luke is doing the surveillance and we haven’t had a time to just have fun. What do you say?

Ryan: Fine but if the bat signal go off or I hear something, it’s back to work. Deal?

Mary: Deal.

Ryan: *smiles* alright let’s have fun!

Mary: Yes! Oh by the way I already invited Sophie

Ryan: wait what?

*scene changes to the hold up. Everyone is partying and drinking *

Mary: Okay! Next shot!

*Mary, Ryan, and Sophie drink*

Sophie: I haven’t had this much fun and forever

Ryan: I didn’t know crows could have fun

Sophie: Former crow and yes I can have fun *smirks at Ryan*

Ryan: *lifts eyebrow* okay Sophie, let’s see how much fun you can have.

*montage of the ladies enjoying drinking games and karaoke then finally resting at the bar*

Ryan: *laughing and smiling * the bird can hold a lil note.

Sophie: A little note? I was amazing, Diana Ross would be proud at the way I sung her song

Ryan: *laughs* okay I will give credit where credit is due

*Mary looks up from her phone excitedly*

Mary: Hot bakery guy just pulled up. I will see you too later. The party for me has gone to a different location. *starts leaving*

Ryan: Whew! You go girl!

Sophie: Get’em Mary!

*Mary exits*

Sophie: I guess that’s my cue to leave

Ryan: What? Don’t be ridiculous. The bar is still open and we have songs to sing. I think them ladies in that booth have it out for us and I say we take them down. *extends her hand for a handshake and gives her charming smile*

Sophie: *rolls eyes and smile* I can oddly never say no to you

Ryan: Good *winks*

*They drink, sing, and talk until the bar starts to close*

Ryan: Damn! *looks at watch* We been here all night

Sophie: Yeah we have

Ryan: *eats a chip and starts to choke*

* Sophie hands Ryan a glass of water, they hands touch. They both get flustered*

Sophie: Looks like I saved your life again Ryan Wilder…I think you should start paying me. It’s becoming a habit.

Ryan: *rolls her eyes* One kryptonite bullet almost takes me out and you think your my personal Superwoman. Bye *chuckles*

Sophie: Your personal Superwoman? I like that. *takes out phone to record* I just want to mark this amazing Taco Tuesday as the day Ryan Wilder names me her Personal Superwoman. Ladies and Ladies, I have upgraded in the book of Wilder *laughs* and now I send to you for your memories

Ryan: You are crazy

*Ryan phones light up and it says from “Crowphie”, Sophie notices*

Sophie: Hold up!

Ryan: What?

Sophie: *takes Ryan’s phone* I’m still in here as Crowphie. I thought we have leveled up in this relationship

Ryan: *struggling to get phone back* We have *laughs* I just never changed your name. It feels nostalgic.

Sophie: Nope *changes her name in Ryan’s phone* there, that’s better

*she hands phone to Ryan and it reads “Sophie Moore”, Ryan laughs *

Ryan: Sophie Moore?

Sophie: That’s my name *drops voice and looks Ryan directly in her eyes* Don’t wear it out *winks and starts to get up *

*Ryan blushes *

Sophie: I should get going Wilder

Ryan: *grabs Sophie’s wrist* What’s my name in your phone?

Sophie: *whispers in Ryan ear* Nunya damn business *laughs*

Ryan: oh it’s like that. Must be something kinky *wiggles eyebrows *

Sophie: You wish Wilder *smiles*

Ryan: You want a cool way to go home?

Sophie: *confused* huh?

*Ryan and Sophie grapple to Sophie’s apartment and they land on the balcony against the wall together. They look into each other’s eyes and their breaths obviously hitch. They start to lean in when Sophie breaks the silence*

Sophie: I had fun tonight Ryan

Ryan: *backing off Sophie* So did I Soph *smiles wildly *

Sophie: You still giving me a nickname

Ryan: At least it beats Crowphie *smirks* we should do this again…just the two of us.

Sophie: The two of us?

Ryan: We are friends right?

Sophie: Of course. I would love that.

Ryan: Good. Have a good night Soph

Sophie: *kisses Ryan on the cheek* You too Wilder *enters through her balcony*

Ryan: *gives that dumb smile she gave in the woods*

Present

Sophie: I can’t believe you remember all that night. Half of it was a blur to me *laughs*

Ryan: Of course I remember. That was the night I realized I liked you Sophie Moore. The day you became My Soph *gives Sophie the “Sophie Smile”*

Sophie: You never told me that

Jada: So sweet. But I got to ask…what was Ryan name in your phone?

Ryan: Yeah! What was it Sophie Moore?

Sophie: Wilder with a heart emoji

Ryan: Damn…you on me bad *gives Sophie a soft kiss*

*Sophie blushes with embarrassment while Ryan chokes on her drink*

Ryan: ooookayyy…maybe change the subject to something else.

Jada: Can y’all tell the story of how you met again, it’s so sweet. Gives me hope to fine love again.

*Sophie and Ryan give each other a skeptical look*

Jada: *confused* what?

Ryan: Umm… we didn’t exactly meet that way

Sophie: Yeah umm…we may have embellished our story.

Jada: How much?

Ryan: All of it.

Jada: Okay? How did y’all meet?

Sophie: I arrested her

*Jada is shocked why Ryan blushes*

Ryan: Well after my mama was killed, I went down a dark path. I started hanging out with some old friends from the streets and started getting myself back in trouble with the law.

Jada: *reaches hand out to Ryan which Ryan receives* I am so sorry you had to go through that. And I’m sorry about your mom. Cora sounded like a wonderful woman and I will forever appreciate her for taking care of my baby girl.

Ryan: Thank you. Means a lot.

Jada: So?

Ryan and Sophie: *confused* so what?

Jada: Tell me the whole story. How does the girl that arrested my daughter becomes the love of her life.

Sophie: Well…

Flashback

*A young Ryan running the streets with other young adults vandalizing and causing mayhem*

Rodrick: Okay, we are definitely having a kickback tonight but we need drinks.

Izze: Now how we gon get drinks and ain’t got money.

Rodrick: Ryan? Where’s your girl Ange, she always got a plug.

Ryan: I don’t know. She’s on another binge.

Rodrick: Damn. I guess we gotta steal it.

Ryan: Steal what?

Rodrick: Liqour…and I know the perfect convenience store.

*scene changes to Ryan and her friends outside the store*

Ryan: *nervously* You guys sure about this?

Izze: Come on Ry! We use to pull this off when we were kids.

Rodrick: Don’t tell me Cora made you soft

Ryan: *angrily* keep my mother’s name out your mouth Rodrick

Rodrick: *steps up to Ryan* or what?

*Ryan starts to pull a weapon out her pocket when Izze stops her*

Rodrick: That’s what I thought

*car pulls up, it’s Ange*

Ange: *obviously high* I’m ready when y’all are

Ryan: Ange you shouldn’t be driving

Ange: I’m good Ry. Get the drinks and hurry back *kisses Ryan on the cheek*

*they go in and start putting beers and wine in their pockets and bags. The worker watches when a customer calls them out. They run out knocking over shelves and more. Worker calls 911 while they hope in the car*

Izze: Go Ange Go!

*crows follow them when they decide to ditch the car and run. Rodrick leaves them…Izze, Ange, and Ryan run another way. Ange runs ahead while Izze trips and Ryan helps her. When they get up, they are stopped by a tall, beautiful crow. She look like a rookie.*

Sophie: Hands up

*scene changes to interrogation room*

Sophie: Ryan Wilder

Ryan: *frowns* That’s my name

Sophie: You got quite the juvie record.

Ryan: Just tell me what I gotta do to get out of here Crow!

Sophie: The names Agent Sophie Moore and well, you can admit your part in the stealing and vandalism and get community service or we can go the hard way and take some time in the Blackgate. Your choice *smirks*

Ryan: *rolls eye * I’m guilty can I go

Sophie: *looking at Ryan’s file* I’m sorry about your mother. She passed recently correct?

Ryan: *angrily and teary eyed* She was killed recently but you crows don’t care

Sophie: That’s not true…we do care

Ryan: If that was true, that Alice bitch and her goons wouldn’t still be running around

Sophie: Look I will try my best to help with your mother’s case.

Ryan: *scoffs*

Sophie: I will try. *looks at Ryan’s file again* look you seemed to have gotten your life right at 14. I’m guessing because of your mom. You seem like a good kid. Why are you doing this? You could have a future. Would Cora be happy with your decisions?

Ryan: *stands up* Don’t you ever mention her! You know nothing about her! *tears roll down her face* You don’t know me

Sophie: Then tell me about you. I want to help Ryan. I believe in you. You can be better.

Ryan: Can you just charge me and give my punishment? I’m guilty

Sophie: Alright *starts to leave and looks back at Ryan* I’m not going to give up on you Ryan. I know you have had a tough life. I believe you can be better but you got to believe it too. I don’t ever wanna see you here again. *leaves*

Present

*scene back at restaurant *

Ryan: and after that she saw me almost every month. Still trying to convince me how much better I could be. Eventually I got into deep trouble which landed my 18 months in Blackgate. Funny thing is, Sophie still tried to help me.

Sophie: and as per usual, you ignored it. Always been stubborn. *chuckles*

*Ryan smirks*

Jada: Well that is definitely not the taco story *laughs* but it’s good to know Sophie was always there.

Sophie: What can I say? *looks at Ryan* Since the beginning she always found her way into my head and my heart *kisses Ryan softly*

Jada: *smiles* so how did y’all come up with that taco story out of thin air? Or did you practice it?

*Sophie and Ryan laugh*

Ryan: Actually…that story is real just it happen somewhat differently

It is the big day!! Day 28 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens!! I decided to choose someone I felt deserved a lot of praise…the real life vampire, proof that the fount of youth exist…the beautiful…Bianca Lawson!!

Born March 20, 1979…Bianca Lawson had by far been one of the best stars on screen. She has impressed everyone for years and will continue to impress all of us. If I see her name, I will literally watch the show or movie. She is one amazing actress, grasping your attention when on screen. I will say she is definitely a top dramatic actress. Plus she literally doesn’t age!! Definition of Black Don’t Crack!! The ancestors truly blessed her.

She is best known for her roles in many film and television shows. For film she is known for Save the Last Dance (she the only reason I watch), Bones (literally one of my favorite comfort films), Breakin’ All the Rules, etc. For tv she is well known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, and Queen Sugar; also her roles in Saved By the Bell: New Class, Sister, Sister, Dawson’s Creek, Witches of East End, etc.

Bianca is one great actress but what makes her even greater is her spirit and wisdom. She is caring and a humanitarian. She is a blessing to others and I wish her well with everything she do!! If you never seen any of her work!! Check it out!! Bianca is a black girl who rocks!!

Day 27 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens… miss Manifestion herself…Keke Palmer

Born August 26, 1993…Keke “Keep a Check Coming” Palmer has to be by far one the best and most successful stars out. I am so glad I grew up watching her, she is definitely one of my favorite actresses, singer, dancer, and lit queen. I am legit manifesting a friendship with Keke, she has to be the most down to earth and realest celeb out!! Everything she does is amazing and blessed. She is an activist and she cares about her community. If you don’t love Keke, you definitely a hater because she is phenomenal on and off screen.

Keke’s talent is beyond amazing and her cleverness when it comes to line delivery is unbelievably amazing. As someone that will be working in television and film one day, I would love to work with Keke. She can do comedy, drama, musicals, even action. Sis is a multitalented actress. Don’t even get me started on her amazing music…check out my girl music.

Keke is only 28 and has already have had iconic roles and is still having iconic roles coming to her. She will definitely be remembered as Hollywood royalty. When it comes to film she is best known for her role in Akeelah and the Bee as titular character Akeelah, Joyful Noise, Jump In, The Longshots, Pimp, Hustlers, Rags, and many more. When it comes to television she is best known for her iconic role as teen designer True Jackson in True Jackson, VP (I use to wear the true Jackson collection), Star, Winx Club, Scream Queens, Scream: TV Series, and many more. She even had her own talk show!! She is currently starring in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and she has two new movies coming out soon…Alice & Nope!!

Keke is out of this world!! I am ready to see what the future holds. Always rooting for you.

Day 26 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens…the legendary Kyla Pratt!!

Born September 16, 1986…Kyla Pratt has to be one of the best stars to ever see on tv. If you grew up watching her like I did, you have been blessed. Kyla for one, can keep you entertained but seeing her both on and off screen, she makes you want to be her friend. She is a great role model for young black girls. I have admired her career for years and who she is as a person. She is a talented actress and have been since she was a child. She can do comedy and drama, all around talent.

She is best known for her role as Breanna Barnes in One on One and as Penny Proud in The Proud Family (my favorite cartoon) and its reboot The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. She also has a regular role in Call Me Kat. She is known for her roles in other shows and films such as The Dr. Dolittle Film Series, Fat Albert, The Parkers, Let’s Stay Together, Love & Basketball, Recovery Road, and so much more. Also did you know sis got a voice. So she has other amazing talents. I enjoy everything Kyla does and I can’t wait to see what she has up next and hopefully I get to work with her one day !! Let’s continue to keep supporting our sister.

She is best known for her role in Glee and A Black Lady Sketch Show. She also has become a talented star in theatre and musicals. She is one amazing actress and they VOICE. Sis is so damn talented and you have to check out her music. Support our sister and make sure her music is heard all over. Not to mention, Amber is the first black woman to win DWTS. Yeah, our girl a triple threat!! Check out all of Amber’s work…she will not disappoint.

Day 23 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens…my girl! Raven Goodwin

Born June 24, 1992…Raven has become one of my on screen favorites. She is best known for her roles in Just Jordan, Good Luck Charlie, Being Mary Jane, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel, and just recently Lifetime’s Single Black Female.

Raven is such a great actress. She can make you laugh and she can make you cry. She embodies the every role she gets. I grew up COGIC and seeing her as one of the legendary Clark Sisters, she did a phenomenal job. I been a fan of hers for years!! I am excited for every role she has coming for her in the future. Do me a favor and check her out, Raven will not disappoint!

Born May 30, 1984…This hazel eye beauty has to be a gift to tv. She is best known for her starring role in She’s Gotta Have It tv series, roles in Someone Great, The Harder They Fall, Fatherhood, Shots Fired, Underground, and she will soon be joining the Jurassic Park film series.

DeWanda has mastered drama and comedy, and I have no doubt she will master action. She is by far one of my favorite actresses on screen. They say people with light eyes can hypnotize you and while that may be somewhat true, her talented acting is what makes you get lost in her trance. Born October 19, 1978…Gabrielle Dennis has to be one of the best actresses to be on TV. She is so freakin hilarious and I enjoy all her roles (yes even Janay😂) Gabrielle can’t help it, she likeable and loveable (on and off screen)

She is best known for her roles in The Game, Rosewood, Bring it On: Fight to the Finish, and currently in both A Black Lady Sketch Show and The Upshaws!!

Do me a favor and check out Gabrielle Dennis and don’t forget her name!! I pray to God I get to work with her one day. I am enjoying her growth and can’t wait to see her future.

Born February 21, 1991…Alex has become one of my top tier actresses to watch. She is best known for starring as Toni Braxton in the the biopic Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart. She is also known for roles in The First Purge, Superfly, The L Word: Generation Q, Rebel, and many more.

Lex is one talented actress and I enjoy watching her. She is definitely someone who name can appear and I will go watch just because it is her. I would love to work with her one day!! I am always rooting for her. Do me a favor and check out all her works!!

Day 19 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens…one of my favorites Brittany Perry-Russell

Born March 11, 1982…Brittany has to be one of my favorite performers. She is both an actress and a dancer, being a well known one. She has appeared in shows and films such as 13 Reasons Why, We Can Be Heroes, Family Reunion, Honey 2, and many more. As a dancer she has danced for big names such as Beyoncé, Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, Janelle Monáe, and many more. This Texas native is an all around star.

Brittany is by far one of my favorite dancers, her moves are always smooth and clean. Nothing about her dancing seems stiff or forced. What even makes her a better dancer is how happy she is when she performs. You can’t help but to watch. She has also gotten popular on Tik Tok and Instagram with her son, actor and dancer, Isaiah Russell Bailey, from Netflix Family Reuion. By far one of my favorite mother-son duo. I am wishing all success to Brittany and whatever she touched. She is a talent I would love to work with. Continue being great!!

Day 18 of 28 Days of Honoring Black Queens…this beautiful New York chica Amirah Vann

Born June 24, 1980 … one of my favorite Afro-latina to ever come across the tv screen has been blowing up and I love it!!

She is best known for her amazing role as Ernestine on the short-lived but beloved show Underground and her role as Teagan on the Shondaland drama How To Get Away With Murder. She is also known for roles in Miss Virginia, Major Crimes, Queen Sugar, and Star Trek Picard.

Amirah is by far one of the best actresses I have ever seen, she can truly command a scene. Not to mention she is already lovable to watching her do her work is a breeze. She hasn’t had one bad role and I would love to work with her one day. She is a talent worth watching. My obviously two favorite roles of hers are Ernestine (Underground) and Teagan (HTGAWM)…two powerful characters that you can’t help but to love. Do me a favor and check out all her work.
