I’m running on about 4.5 hours of sleep on this last day of classes. Except for the slight problem of not being paid, I’m looking forward very much to the school year being over.

Not only that! This peninsula is home to Wallops Flight Facility!  (link to wiki). Established in 1945 to study rocketry it now has a commercial space port. Wallops main missions involve high atmospheric research. The winds of the mesosphere are one of the great fronteirs of study! 

I always forget Virginia even has an Eastern Shore (the part that isn’t connected to the rest of it).
