Why I really like playing video games

It fulfills that internal ADHD need to complete tasks

Achievements and rewards make me feel nice

Becoming fully emerged in a story or a setting especially choice heavy and/or open world games feels great to leave realty for a few hours

Again achievements are just great to earn

Especially when you get all of them!

Making friends and taking about games.

Not entirely the same thing but just the fact that one game can change so many lives

Just the story’s that you learn and the characters you can relate to.

Feeling like you’ve completed something and you’ve done well.

No one is judging you while playing (unless you film or play multiplayer).

You get lost in the story.

Again achievements.
