Though itis a common occurrence to be forbidden from entering crime scenes ( rather, it is forbidden for defense attorneys to even be at a crime scene. ), there is always a point in time where they manage to take a peek some way or another; he’s stuck having to force, possibly even bribe his way into this.

’ …Or do we have to go through this again? ‘

Go through the whole justice thing again? Absolutely. ( But did he want to do that again? Absolutely not. )

As reluctant as he is to admit it, Apollo has a point. Still — it wasn't going to keep him from trying to stall the lawyer, even if only for a few moments. Although, the whole justice thing was starting to get repetitive. Price of one's work, right ?

" Normally, I would, so normally you'd be right — but really, what kind of detective would I be if I didn't at least try to keep you off the scene ? "

Also — it really didn't help that there may or may not have been a prosecutor on the scene. And it should go without saying that it would not be in the detective's favor if he were to just allow the attorney right on through. But he could hold off on sharing that little bit of information for now, right ?

The ( detective ) was just about ready to try and come up with some way to stall the lawyer while the investigation carried on behind him, but he supposed being straightforward with the attorney would be the best way to go about keeping away from the crime scene.

For the time being, that was.

" You're going t'have to wait a bit. "

He's gonna give him about five minutes max before the defense attorney tries to come up with some excuse as to why he has to be allowed access to the scene.
