My first steps for this assignment were going to tumbler and typing in viral stories in my search bar. After scrolling I found an interesting one about McDonalds opening its first restaurant with no human employees. I then went over to Buzzsumo and typed in McDonalds to make sure that I could find it on that website. After simple scrolling I found it with the same title and selected it.
Going back to the tumbler post I selected it and it took me to its posted WordPress page. This page was written Jan 31st 2023 posted by Suchana News. The short article provided a video, this McDonalds is located in Texas, the video includes visuals of the robots bringing the food and the customer ordering on the screen, it also shows ordering on mobile app and it delivering it to the drive through window.
Scrolling back to Buzzsumo to read that article it had 11k for Facebook engagement, 15 twitter shares, 127 reddit engagement shares which was more than most on the page. I selected analysis and it showed me various people that have shared that article. Over all it was found that McDonalds did open a location where robots are the employees.

week of 9/20
The personality I am choosing is Shanin Blake. I found her on Instagram's a little bit ago. From what I know she has daughter and posts music. I took my research to google with first typing her name and searching that. Google right away verified that she is singer with posted music. Then seeing that she has an upcoming tour, leading into her genre of music which is pop. She is on spotify which is a very popular music platform. Although anyone can be on spotify. I also found an interview that she did that was posted on volume Utah.com. this website is centralized for Utah and is a reputable source due to its credentials. Over all from the research I can say that Shanin Blake is an artist.
Also found a post from NBC 7 for San Diego which proved my findings even more.

week 9/13 post
The viral photo I chose was the famous striped dress. The controversy behind this was people saw it in two different colors. I personally saw it in blue. I was searching for viral photos for this post and ended up on the website The Washington Post. After scrolling I saw the picture of the dress and remembered it. The post was the man behind the dress killed his wife. From this page I went to google and typed in 2 toned viral dress.
This took me to a link I selected for wire.com which was explaining the science the behind the dress. What I was seeking to find is what color is the actual dress. Wire.com goes on to say its the pixels changed each time the picture was posted. To validate this information I then looked for an author in which there was none. there was quite a few adds which I remembered CNN which is a rebuttable source had a lot. I then headed back to google to research is wire.com a rebuttable source. The research showed it is an American magazine comes and comes highly recommended by google. After a few other reviews I decided that wire.com is reputable source. After this I researched where the dress originated from which is actually Keir Johnson, the dress was his mother in laws and stated it is in fact the pixels. So for this viral photo after researching to the original post and the man behind it is infact only one color.

Temu
Everywhere you look right now Temu is on the rise. I cannot scroll facebook, instagram etc. without getting adds for this. My question is, is TEMU real or valuable.
First step I took was clicking on the link on social media to view the page. Next step was I selected some things to purchase, compared prices to Amazon etc. Then I looked into days shipped. My biggest thing with Amazon is that they are so large they can shit overnight which means they are located in the US.
After researching some stuff on the site I then went to google to find out that TEMU is infact an online market place. Finding most of its goods are shipped directly from China. this information was found via wikepedia. My next instinct as we cant trust wikepdia always was to seach further.
ZD.business is a legit business website that answers questions regarding companies. It was found on this website that TEMU is infact a new online market place! Weather the items are legit or not or perhaps a different question is what are people buying! But it is proven that TEMU is a business.
