I'm sixty percent sure that "War" is not a real grade and this person is just super gullible.

A rather concerning point made by some of our senior staff (Underbaron Iphianassa), perhaps it should be investigated?

Sorry for any headache, Q.
What can I say? I'm popular.

<"Enlightenment" class is such a vile term. It implies that fully understanding the human perspective is ultimately something only the highest of thought could achieve, places humanity above the children of Deimos.>
<They are right, of course, for it is a feat to understand creatures so irrational, but it is the sentiment I dislike>
<I already know the side you will choose. Fight well.>
Hmph. An intriguing outlook.
"Fight well," you say? I am, in truth, not much of a fighter myself. Does someone intend to bring the fight to me?

<CHOOSE A SIDE CAREFULLY, ONCE YOU SHUFFLE THE DECK YOU MAY NOT LIKE THE HAND YOU DRAW>
Interesting. I find myself rather content with my current hand.
But I'll humor you for a moment. If there are two sides to this conflict you speak of, I think a card analogy is most fitting here.
There are two sides to a card. The front and the back. The known and the unknown.
To side with the known would be to fight for myself. For ourselves.
The other side remains yet to be seen. Care to flip a card, stranger?

<A little firepower, little one? I was there when it all began. I can forge you a blade the others have forgotten. Take it, a gift>
(There is a box. Inside it is another box, of the exact same size - the outer one has to be stretched to pull out the inner one. Inside that, another, and so on and so forth until at the bottom there is a pen drive containing minotaur liturgicode)
I am not little! How disrespe- huh?
(The sound of big metallic fingers rummaging through boxes is heard.)
...oh?
Why thank you, stranger. I will experiment with this another time. Wouldn't want to put anything malicious in this lovely frame, now would I?

I'm sure your God Armors are as precious as they're said to be. If it's got history, it's worth more than just a price tag.
As for their function...
Probably not quite as unique. No offense.
Mechs are common by lancer standards. You don't see people packing chassis every day if you're not involved in fighting. There's quite a few humanitarian applications for them, but for the most part, you don't see too much out in the diaspora unless you're in combat.
But if you're in more affluent space? Or, Ra forbid, a lancer? You might see mechs more often than you see the pilots inside of them. And if you take one down, there'll probably just be another like it in its place, as long as the pilot survived and found their way to a printer they can use.
Shit, mine's maybe a week old at most? I had an incident and the internal damage was too extensive to repair, so I had to get it reprinted.
[Hearts]
Good denizens of the Omni-Net, I am intrigued.
Upon Kesh there are the Seven Hundred Divines, that are mortals armored in the raiment of God, that are the equal of thirty men of good sword and wield weapons to sunder mountains. Their armor stands as tall as houses in some cases, and is often a hundred years old or more.
I did believe that such armor was rare indeed, but on the Omni-Net I have heard of "mechs" that match many of the God Armors in ability and might. How common, truly, are these machines? Is Union just tremendously wealthy, or is God Armor not as precious as I believe?

Been a while since I did one of these, but I figured I should get it out of the way.
Hello Omninet. I am Anyak Kraber, callsign "Hearts". Ex-pirate, currently an ensign under Northstar Galactic Command. I pilot the IPS-N Caliban "Into Empty Sky".
And I am, admittedly recently named, Jack. Yes, the bit is cards. As I have deduced, I am a "Student" class NHP. Whatever that means.
Blog's gone through a bit of a rebrand, if you couldn't tell. I thought it necessary to update the look of things, given my recent update in status, and my bump in hardware quality.
I think that just about clears up second introductions, though. Peace out Omninet.

Good call.
The age minimum isn't just there for no reason. Your heart will teach you why.

Listen. Listen. Do *not* go anywhere *near* the IPS-N standard-issue caffeine pills. Those are for long-haulers. 24-subjective-hour-shifters. Those make sure you do not need to sleep again, right up until you pass out from exhaustion. I will not touch the IPS-N caffeine pills, and I used to work there. //The Intern

Like, light wind with a bit of a drizzle. Not too much.
Hearing the light taps against my hardsuit is... calming.

Take note of your own wording there.
"Freed". Not "I left". "Freed".

Problems from your past, huh? That hits close to home.
Although your actor seems a bit more pious than mine, for better or for worse.

I didn't imagine it'd get any easier from here. Maybe a bit less personal, though.
I'm starting to realize why we have all these little morale boosters.

I, uh... Yeah, that mission was what I thought it was.
God, I feel sick. Nothing about that felt right. I-... I just...
If they could say no, they would've. If they could surrender, they would've.
I didn't want to kill them. I don't think any of us did. But we had to. There wasn't another way, not then at least.
It's... it's just not fair! It's not fair!

Uh, usually they do it like, in a big pan. Throw some ingredients and some kind of sauce or oil in, and you've got a meal, as long as you made other stuff with it. Sometimes we get fried chicken patties that have like, just a bit of breading on them, those are good.
I like a lot of fried stuff, but in my personal opinion deep frying is a construct of pure evil designed to sate the gluttonous and choke the pure.

The food here's on a rotation. It's mostly stuff that can be baked, boiled, or fried in bulk. Chicken, pasta, bread, cereals in the morning, etcetera. Nutrient dense stuff, high protein, fortified. Keeps us in shape, and tastes pretty good too.
I think tonight is chicken teriy-... ter-.. ter-i-ya-ki? Is that right? Hard to pronounce for me.
