i genuinely can not STAND what 1st place did to IA, they have always very obviously favored her higher range but she is purely a squeaker now. i have not heard a single usage (especially promoted usage) of her cevio voicebanks that arent pitched up to hell (unless its her english vb then shes allowed to preform in a normal range because they are trying to make her sexy? but only in english? shes only a sex badass in english) there was nowhere for IA to go but up, when she was first released on v3 she had the widest vocal range and a wonderful mature tone present in her voice then her rocks vb was released and it was even better it took that same stunning quality of IA and brought some power to her slightly watery og voice. the whole time 1st place was posting video after video on their official channels only showcasing IA as a squeaker and very rarely highlighting her actual range and potential. then without notice that yanked IA away from vocaloid and put her on the cevio engine and gave her shitty designs and even shitter voicebanks that are just being murdered by the overpowering cevio engine noise (the same engine noise that infamously made ONE and sasara indistinguishable from each other when singing lets put all our eggs in that basket even though there are far better talking and singing programs and its not like cevio banks are capable of doing both anymore, so why stay) anyways stream the best ever usage of IA https://youtu.be/Wv0l2WMBxAM?si=QReyzse5ZNyK5Qjp
