A Review of the Movie 

“The Art of Getting By”(2011)

FAVORITE SCENES ♡

1st pic: This is the scene where George’s art teacher told him to create something that is meaningful. He then creates a painting of Sally, the girl whom he loves.

“True art is characterized by an irresistible urge in the creative artist.”

Since there is already what we call a “modern art”, artists are free to create something that they want. Still they must not forget that in doing so, they should have a perspective that comes from the heart. Something that can be interpreted within themselves in the best way possible.

2nd pic: This is the scene where George’s name was called out for graduation.

“Victory is knowing you’ve done your best. If you’ve done your best,you’ve won.”

George may be late in doing homeworks, but he wasn’t late in Graduating. He found out who he was and what he must do. He believed he could, and so he did. 

MOVIE SUMMARY ♡

This story started with George saying that billions of people have been born thousand of years ago and not a single one of them making it. He says many people die everyday and that if we live alone, we die alone. Everything else is just an illusion. For him we all die eventually so why are we wasting our life working , sweating and struggling. He don’t have friends, no girlfriend,  and most of all, no assignment. His reason is that he got better things to do with his time. He’s depressed because he realized that he’s gonna die one day. In the story he never fails to show that for him, everything seems meaningless, including his homework.

One day, he was caught smoking. And so comes the principal telling him that his future depends on the next few months. That everything follows. And that he should start before it’s too late. They believe that he’s capable, therefore he said he will try. They even questioned him on how he would get  a job and how would he go to college if he continue his ways. He just said he’s tired. They advised him to dig in so he can develop and express his heart out. After saving her (a girl named Sally from being caught smoking),they became close. George opens up to her on how he fears life. Eventually, they became close and George seems to be doing homework now.

At one scene, Sally told him that cutting is fun and so they did. The next day on his art class, a new student was introduced. His name is Dustin. They spent the day talking to each other. Dustin then invited him to come to his studio. George and Sally went together. Days passed and soon George met Sally’s friends and when they saw that he’s a great artist, he was invited to make a poster for the invitation to a party. After that they brought him to a club.But then he vomits after as he’s not used to it. Sally saw her outside and brought him to her house.

Since Sally started to like him, she asked if he could sex with her. George’s reactions points to no. After that, they aren’t talking to each other anymore unlike before. Sally had a talk with Dustin and said that George is complicated. After that incident, he isn’t doing his homewoks again. He puts no effort on anything again.  The next day, the principal talked to him that the moment for him to decide his future has arrived. He said he would give him 2 weeks to do everything he’s missed. One night, George and his lying stepfather fought. He went to see Sally, kissed her, but saw her with Dustin on apartment. He walks away telling he thought Dustin was cool.

Perhaps George realizes he now needs to be serious. The next day, he said to the principal that he’ll do it.  His art teacher also told him that he doesn’t need a lifeless assignment. He wants one that is meaningful. He wants him to look in the mirror and create an art that speaks the real him. He said he won’t care if it’s big or small, the important thing is - it’s dauntless and fearless. He told him to hold his work down the drain. George, now determined stays up all night finishing his works. He ’s now decided, wishes to graduate and wants go to an art school and get a real training. George tells Sally he’s now in love with her too and that he used to be nothing and she changed him. Sally said he must wait and that both of them will get there soon.

George then passed  all his works to the principal. His art teacher also hugged him for a job well done. In the end, George and Sally saw each other and looks at the painting George did- which is also her. And of course, it would never end without George’s name being called. He graduated.

GUIDE QUESTIONS ♡

1. What life lessons can be learned from the movie?

Just like how George wasn’t too late to be serious and do his homeworks so he could graduate, it’s not also too late for us to change something. It’s not too late to face our fears. Just like in the road, we can always take U-Turns. But we musn’t forget that one wrong move can do enourmous damage. We need to decide and think properly for one wrong decision can affect us big. Our choices lies within us and it’s up for us to decide.  If we have the will and the passion then we could truly achieve something. Just like in the movie, we need to be serious about the word “Graduation”. It’s not a joke because Graduation is just the beginning and not the end. It’s the start of big dreams in the future. Since education is a very powerful force that can actually change the world, we must do our best to use it in the best way that we can. We can see in the end how very fulfilling it is to graduate- it is where you actually see the fruits of your own labor.

2. What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

The most powerful part for me is when the principal, other subject teachers and George’s  art teacher talked, urged and tell him that they are giving him a chance.That it’s not yet too late and that he can still do something. It touched me so much when his art teacher told him to create something that is meaningful. Something that comes from the heart. I do believe that for a person to do something wonderful, it must come deep from within. It’s where treasured memories are hidden. It’s where great thoughts will come from. It’s where true beauty lies. It is in our hearts where we find our purpose.  It is where  we find determination. We must follow our hearts, and just live to it accordingly. George did, and he succeeded.

3. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?

My favorite character was George. He inspires  people that it’s never too late to try. That there’s always a way to make it out till the end. As they say, great things never come from the comfort zone. We musn’t be too scared of the thought of “dying” alone, and the thought of “trying”. Because that would keep us from doing something while we are still living. We must go for it, while it’s still there. We must do it, while we still can. And just like what he did when he painted, we must do things out of our inspiration. We must never doubt, we  should just believe.

4. Did anything that happened in the movie remind you of something that has occured in your own life or have you seen occured to others?

Yes. I do  know that many students nowadays don’t really focus on studying . They don’t do homeworks.  Sometimes, they just copy and doesn’t care at all. They even cut classes not thinking of what the consequences will be. Maybe they were influenced to do so. But still, at the end it’s still their fault because there’s always a choice given to them. They must always think of what the future will be instead of just going around. They must learn how to say no to “I can’t do it” and just say yes to “I’ll try to do it”. And they will see how it will lead them to “I did it”.

5. If you had chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?

If I were to ask a character from the movie, I would ask George on how does it feel to graduate? What does he wanna say to his teachers who never stopped pushing him? To his mother who did everything just so he could study? Will he continue on pursuing his love to Sally? What does he wanna say to the students who want to give up right now?

☂ “Rainbow After the Rain” ☂ (Movie Review) 2/3

              A Review of the Movie “Short Term 12″  (2013)

FAVORITE SCENES ツ

1st pic: This is the scene where Jayden was surprised by the other members of Short Term 12.

“No matter how strong a girl is, she has a weak point. And sometimes, all she needs is a hug.”

In our life, we’ve always wanted to feel being loved. If your family cannot do it, there must be someone. There has to be. (God is a guarantee, but maybe a friend as well?) I was touched in this scene because the members of the Short Term 12 made Jayden feel that she’s got a friend in them.

2nd pic: This is the scene where Jayden told a story to Grace. Beneath that is the story of her own life.

“There is a hidden message behind every story.”

This scene made me emotional since Jayden showed how much she loves his father (even though he hurts her physically and emotionally, she doesn’t wanna tell it to anyone). 

MOVIE SUMMARY ツ

The story began with Mason, Grace’s boyfriend telling a funny incident story when some troubled kid runs out of the house. Both of them works on Short Term 12. Short Term 12 is somewhat a place or a house with rooms for problematic  or troubled teens. It aims to create a safe environment for them. A community meeting was then held with  all the members on it present. They are planning to have a celebration for Marcus who is turning 18. At one point, the new staff named Nate called them “under-privilege”, so Marcus felt a little upset and went back to his room. Soon, a new girl named Jayden was also entrusted to them.

One day, Grace went to a hospital and soon learns that she’s positive to pregnancy and thought of having abortion. The next day Grace founds out that Marcus possessed a drug. She talked to him and said that he’s smart so he must know what to do. Being thrown in jail is not an option. Grace  tries to focus and be close to Jayden afterwards. A few days later, Grace then tells Mason they’re going to have a baby. Mason told her they’re going to be amazing parents. On Jayden’s birthday , she prepares for her dad to come and get her. She then gets angry and rages towards the staffs when he didn’t come pick her up. After that, Grace confronts and shows her scars to her.  And maybe, that made Jayden a little better.

Jayden then comes into her room and was surpised with letters made by fellow Short Term 12 members. She even blew candles after that.  But after awhile , Jayden tries to sneak out and Grace tries to follow her. They ended up on her father’s house but found no one inside. Grace then asked her if she wants to go back , so they did. When they got back, Jayden talked to Grace about a hurtful story of two friends. And that’s where Grace started to have suspicions that maybe Jayden’s father does something violent to her.  Grace then told Mason they can’t let her go back in her father’s house.

One night, Mason asks Grace if he can marry her and she agrees. But that happiness didn’t last long. In the morning, Grace founds out her father is to be freed from prison,  Marcus’ fish died and Jayden’s father picked her up. Grace got really upset as problems starts to pile up. Later that day , he saw Marcus committing suicide. They then brought him to a hospital. Mason then tells Grace to tell him anything so he would know what to do and so that he could walk through it with her. Mason confronts her saying he cannot do something if she won’t open up to him. Grace then tells she can’t and that she’s sorry. Mason questioned her saying he waited for 3 years  already, and is curious as why she still don’t trust him. (Maybe because of Grace’s past experiences to her father?) Grace replied by saying she can’t marry him and that they can’t have a baby. She said she can't do it.

Afterwards, Grace went to Jayden’s house and goes inside wanting to hurt Jayden’s father. Jayden saw her. Grace opened to Jayden that her father also abused her. Afterwards, both of them  decided to destroy her fathers car and together, they went back to Short Term 12. Jayden also told to others that she was really abused.  Grace says sorry to Mason saying she’s just messed up. In the end , Mason and Grace went to an ultrasound. Mason also told everyone that Marcus is now doing good as well.

1. What life lessons can be learned from the movie?

The movie made me realized I was lucky I got a normal life without having so much problems. This then made me conclude that I must do my duty as part of the community, the least we can do is to help (just like what Short Term 12 does). As the saying goes, “We can’t help everyone, but we can help someone.” You know, we can all do more than what we are doing right now. We should all give and we should all care. Specially for those people who needs assistance. But in helping people, we must be careful and we must have patience. Our words might hurt them easily. (Just like how Marcus got upset when they were called  underprivileged). We must let them feel that there are other people who cares and loves them too. We must understand them. Let them be aware that if others can do it ,they can also do it. We must let them realize that life is still worth living. That every lives do matter. Grace was right in making them realize that. 

2. What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

For me, the most powerful part was when Grace shows her scars to Jayden.

I greatly salute Jayden for making such a touching story where her real life experiences were hidden.Yes, she loved her father that much she don’t wanna tell it to anyone. But Grace was incredibly intelligent for finding that out. I am deeply touched when Grace told her she was also a victim of violence. Yes, people often forget that kindness is just free. When they do experience something bad, they close their hearts and just focus on that one thing. But Grace did the exact opposite. She offered her hands for others to rise and that’s just....PRICELESS.

3. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?

My favorite character in the movie was Jayden. Yes, Grace  made to life that saying where “someone doesn’t need a reason to help people”. She offered Jayden a help. But I applaud Jayden for letting herself to be “helped”. I salute her for not trying to take her own life. For allowing herself to be surrounded by people that can help her. I like that she’s strong and just obedient. Letting herself be helped, I know she will overcome everything. No matter how dark it gets, a sunshine like her is going to rise again. Some talk back saying people  don’t know how and what they actually feel. But Jayden opened her heart to Grace and just listened to her advices.

4. Did anything that happened in the movie remind you of something that has occured in your own life or have you seen occurred to others?

Yes. A friend of mine is going through the same depression because of the struggles she experiences in her life. I can’t be physically be there for her, because she’s miles away. But I never stopped saying to her everyday that I will always be there for her, that distance may keep us apart but she will always be in my heart. I always make sure that she got a “sister” in me. That’s why I will never stop giving her surprises because I know that it will always make her happy. I even messaged her many reasons why she must be happy. I always tell her that even through the pain, she must not give up. In the best way that I can, I promise to try my best to get her out of that sad situation because I know how vulnerable they can be.

5. If you had chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?

I would ask Grace how she coped up with her past situation. How she still manages to help people despite what she’s been through. What was her inspiration? Who and what became her strength? I would ask if there was also someone who helped her overcome through it. (Maybe i’ll ask what will she name her baby?) Kidding!

A Review of the Movie 

“Whiplash” (2014)

FAVORITE SCENE ✰

This is the scene where Andrew & Terence shared a smile to each other.

“ Don’t stop dreaming just because you had a nightmare. ”

This was my favorite scene because Terence’s eyes were like saying a message to Andrew- “You actually did it, after all those hardships I’ve put you into. You survived and continued and for that I give you a “Good Job.”

MOVIE SUMMARY ✰

It all began with Andrew Neiman playing the drums on Shaffer Conservatory of Music. Terence saw him and asked why he stopped playing suddenly. So he started playing again. Terence once again asked why he started playing when what he just asked is that “why he stopped playing.” And said that his version is like a monkey. Andrew got embarassed. He then practiced later that day and listened to Buddy Rich’s works hoping he could do the same. The next day, Terence came inside their class and told Andrew to do drums with him and that he must come on time. Andrew felt happy. In the meeting, Terence asked them to play the piece “Whiplash”. Terence is a very strict teacher and pays attention to every beat of the music. He doesn’t want any mistakes and is very particular to every beat he hears. At one point, he told everyone in the room that he senses someone that’s out of tune. He tumbled upon one boy and asked if he thinks he’s the one out of tune. The boy answered “yes” so Terence raged at him for not telling after asking for several times. After the boy left, he told everyone he’s not really  the one that’s out of tune. But since  he told “yes” (it means he didn’t actually know) - and that’s bad enough. Terence then told Andrew that the key is just relax. He said not to worry about the numbers, what the other guys are thinking. That he’s there for a reason and he  gotta  believe that.

The next day, Terence told them to play the piece again and Andrew seems to be struggling.  Terence then threw a chair at him asking if he was rushing or dragging, and then slapped him till he cries and made him shout to everybody that he’s upset. He was told to practice harder. Later that night, he did practice hard till his hands bleed. When a competition was held , Andrew purposely lose the folder that has a sheet music inside. And since the other drummer can’t play without it , Andrew volunteers to do so .They won in the competition and he was promoted to core drummer. Andrew then gets upset one day when Terence promotes Connolly (one of his old classmate) as the new core drummer. He soon breaks up with his girlfriend telling he wants to be one of the best and that she would stop him from being that. Once again, he practiced real hard-  to the point of hurting himself.

One day, Terence told a story about  a boy who started with a lot of hope like all of them. He said how some people told that the boy  isn’t really for music. Terence told everybody that the people didn’t see what he saw. He saw a drive in him. Eventually, that boy was able to win some awards. His name was Sean Casey. Terence told his story because he found out he died that day. He even told them  that he was a beautiful player. Since Andrew cannot accept he’s not the core drummer anymore, they fought for the position. Eventually, Andrew won the part  of core drummer again. In another competition, Terence said to Andrew that he was self-righteous, and needed to prove himself. Andrew was determined to do so but before the show started, he realizes that he left his drumsticks so he had to get it back quickly or else he would be late for the competition. Unfortunately, he met accident on the way and arrives on the theater injured. He couldn’t play right and so he failed. Terence told he’s done of him and was then attacked by Andrew. Soon, Andrew’s father  persuaded him to get back to Terence, though part of him doesn’t want to. Sean Casey’s lawyer said the real reason of his death was because of Terence. He told him to say bad things to him mysteriously to get him fired.  

One day they saw each other  again on a club and Terence told him he was fired. And that he knows he’s one of the reason why. Terence  explained to him that he pushes people beyond what is expected and that is an absolute necessity. He told him he just wants them to be one of those best drummers. He told of a story behind the success of some drummers.They succeeded because they practiced and practiced with one goal in mind. They practice so hard that no one never gets to laugh at them again. He added that there are no 2 words in the English language more harmful than a “good job”. Andrew told him that maybe he goes too far and too hard to a point that he discourages them to be the next “Charlie Parker”. Terence answered with a “NO” explaining that the next “Charlie Parker” would never be discouraged. Terence told him he would never apologize for how he tried.

He then invites Andrew for a band but eventually tricked him into playing another piece. Andrew was embarrassed infront of many people but instead of leaving , he goes back in the stage to play a piece he knows. He cued the band himself, and plays solo even other musicians already finished playing . Terence who was just on stage, willingly guides him. In the end, they shared to each other a very meaningful smile.

1. What life lessons can be learned from the movie?

People must always understand why sometimes, they are pushed to their limits. Just like how Terence pushed Andrew. It’s not just because they want us to be in the hardest situation but because they know we can do it, that we can surpass it, and that we can still do better. The quote goes by saying ”When you want to give up, remember why you started”. The moment you chose to give up is the moment you will feel “regret”.  We must always find a way because someday we might just look back and smile at all the challenges we’ve passed through. We must never stop chasing our dreams. Think how far you’ve gone. But sometimes when we’ve reached the point where we are in our satisfaction level, we must still humble ourselves and do things in the right way. Andrew badly wanted the position of core drummer. At first, he got the position not because he actually deserved it, but because he made shortcuts toward it. But no, that’s not the real definition of what success really is. It happens after surviving many disappointments, trials or struggles. We must also remember to take our choices carefully. At one scene, Andrew broke up with his girlfriend. In the end he regretted it. While chasing for our dreams, we musn’t also forget that it’s not the only thing that would matter.

2. What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?

For me, the most powerful part is when Terence smiled to Andrew in the last part. Terence’s eyes were like saying “You did it man”. He may be harsh most of the time but his motives were always right. Andrew would’ve never done it if he hadn’t done it the hard way. Sometimes, the limits of the possible can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible. Just like when God gives us challenges, he would never give it to us if he knows we can’t make it. We must always try to overcome the limits of abilities. Sometimes we just have to make the weaknesses our biggest strengths.

3. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?

My favorite character in the movie was Andrew’s father. Through thick and thin, he’s always been there for his son. He showed what a family should be. To love and support one another. I truly believe in the saying that “Behind every child who believes in himself, is a parent who believed first.” From beginning till the end, he’s just there. He didn’t talk much but his actions were promising never to leave, and that’s just so touching. Yes you may be the strongest person, but definitely at one point, you need someone to hold your hand and say that it’s just alright.

4. Did anything that happened in the movie remind you of something that has occured in your own life or have you seen occured to others?

Yes. I’ve seen how some students received high expectations from their parents. Just like Terence, no mistakes and failures allowed. They would put all the blame on their children and wouldn’t be so happy if they wouldn’t reach the position they expect. Students then are forced to try their very best, wouldn’t mind even if they stay up late. Yes, the motives were always right and good. But sometimes it’s too much. They focus on the brighter future too much that they forgot to think of their children anymore. And these children would hope their parents could understand. They hope they could finally reach it. They hope they could finally see their parents smile to them.

5. If you had chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?

If I were to ask a character I would ask Terence. I am just wondering if he ever had a teacher just like him that pushed him so hard to his limits. I would ask him if he ever had an experience that led him to be that harsh. What can he say to Andrew- who reached his expectations but betrayed him? In addition, I would ask him more about the “Sean Casey” case - about how their journey has been.  

✔ We may be pushed to our limits and just want to give up, but we must remind ourselves to continue and Just Do It ✔

 Apple’s MacBook Water?! 

Yep- the title says it all. Apple will be releasing a new kind of MacBook! OMG

                                                   Kidding ☹

Well I just thought of the idea. If there’s a MacBook Air, why couldn’t there be MacBook Water, MacBook Fire & MacBook Earth! :)

Okay let’s move to a more serious business here. Today I’m gonna be having a Tech Review of my fav GADGET!

Of course for a student like me, a laptop is a “must-have”. Nope, it’s not a want. For me it’s more of a necessity. Why do i need a laptop when i can just use a personal computer, a tablet or just a phone?

Basically I would reason you out with these things:

✖ First, I can’t take a desktop all around, it’s heavy and NOT convenient (plus it would make me look crazy if i brought it out). In addition, we usually have scheduled brown-outs in our place, so how could i use a PC without electricity?

✖ Second, using just a tablet in creating documents is so much different than using a laptop. With a laptop, I can perform all activities like i’m just using a PC. A tablet have some limited functions too.

✖Third, using a phone is too small and like a tablet,  i also believe it is limited in some ways. Though I’m also a fan of phones, I wouldn’t deny that its speed  processor is slower. It’s so much easier to browse with a laptop.

    SO…. I now guess that laptop won?

    Anyways, since laptop is my favorite gadget I’d like to give you a review of the laptop that I truly found in favor with-   

     MACBOOK AIR (13 INCHES) ❥

First, I’d like to give you some mind blowing facts about MacBook that I got from a site. I want to keep you interestingly committed to continue reading :D

Did you know?

✧ Part of Bill Gates's house (co-founder of microsoft) was designed using a Mac?

✧MacBook is the only computer to provide much more power than any other computer having the same tech specs.

And yes since I’m a MacBook user let me share to you my experiences on using it!

                           ☆ (Let me go to the good things first!) ☆

❁ When I browse ,it processes with great speed- it loads faster than any other laptops I’ve used. Is it safe  for me to even say it’s “LAG-FREE”?, because that’s the truth.

❁ One more great thing I found out is that it can’t easily be scratched. Well, perhaps because it’s made out of aluminum. As of now, i haven’t bought a case or cover for mine , and one time i worried that it might have got a scratched because i accidentally bumped it hard into something. When i came to look at it i was like “WOW AMAZING”. It didn’t even got the slightest scratch.

❁It’s even so much comfortable to type. It’s keyboard is like one of its best features.

❁It comes with great built-in applications. From Photobooth that makes taking photos fun to iMovies which makes making movies so much easier and of course Notes- which can also keep your tiny secrets private, I can’t deny how wonderful MacBook Air truly is.

❁Long battery life. I was surprised by how long it can last. Comparing it to my other  gadgets, it’s battery life is much more longer.

⌦  (While I have many great experiences on my MacBook Air, I wouldn’t also deny that I have slight disappointments towards it. These ones I’m about to say are not that too bad though. I still love it!) ⌫

❦ I’m sad to say that Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel doesn’t come with it when it was bought. And for me , these 3 are one of the most important softwares I need to have. I guess I need to spend another money for those? Sadly, my old laptop (which isn’t Apple) came with them when bought.

❦ My apple headsets won’t fit on it. I’m not really sure if the problem is with my headset though. Nevertheless, the thought of watching or listening music outloud is just okay for me.

⍨So far that’s the only problem I found. I hope there’s not more to come!⍨

Now , you may wonder why I chose MacBook Air and not other MacBooks?

I chose it simply because I believe that it’s cheaper and much lighter than others. Out of all  them , it also has the longest battery life.

Why Apple?

Well, since I was given an opportunity to own one, I just agreed. Who would say “NO” to it anyway?

Anyways Here Are Few Features Of 

A  MacBook Air! 

1. Battery Life: Aside from me telling it can last up to 14 hours, it can also sleep for more than 3 hours and it can even be on standby mode for up to 30 days.

2.  Processors and Graphics: Apple structures is made to deliver great performances without having to use so much power. According to Apple, MacBook Air is on the 5th generation intel core i5 and i7 processor. This means good because it means that it’s very much responsive and only delivers the best experiences fastly.

3. Wifi- MacBook Air has 802.11ac Wi-Fi. What does this mean? It simply means maximum speed. It’s way faster than others.

4. Storage: MacBook Capacity is up to 512 GB. So if you’re looking for something that you can store your many files with, then this might be a good choice for you!

5. Keyboard: The best thing about the keyboard is that it has its lighting underneath it so that whatever condition you are in- dark or not , you can still see it. It also gives users a kind of “satisfaction” whenever they type.

 ☚ Of course, the over-all display of this laptop is surely one of the best. Otherwise, i would be raging by now (kidding!) ☛

Yes, MacBooks may be pricey, but what matters is that it would be of great use. I truly believe that Apple creates gadgets that’ll truly last. A MacBook Air user like me would say- IT’S DEFINITELY WORTH IT. In the end, the decision is still all up to you. I truly wish you would be wise! :)

     *♥* Though I find writing somewhat “unsettling”, I will try to  keep this in the best way that I can. Allow me to introduce myself. Hey everyone, my name is Mona Liza Frans B. Catral. And no , I’m not your Mona Lisa *insert laugh here*. By the way , you can call me “Moli” for short. I’m from Philippines ,17 years old and a Senior High Student from SPUP. Currently, I’m taking the Accountancy , Business and Management strand.  I want to personally say that I’m new to blogging ,so I hope you would welcome me very well. I used to be an active forumer on a site and I’m not really sure if blogging has some similarities on that thing. Anyway, my goal is to make my blog something “worth reading that people would always come back and look for more”. I then hope some experts reading this might give me some advices. I really do hope that  I could use this blog to express my ideas, vent out my feelings, learn a few  things and probably  meet some new friends. I hope so. Anyways, here’s some more facts about myself that could probably make you feel comfortable with me. (or maybe NOT :D) *♥*

۞ Anyways, I usually like making jokes around. It’s just so good in the feeling when you make someone happy. When you see someone laugh because of you, isn’t that just GREAT? Though sometimes I would go overboard and still jokes when it’s not time , and then  my parents would rage at me :-( LOL! ۞

۞ Moving on, I can honestly say that  I am a  very sweet friend. I’d like to say this in the humblest way that I can. Since 2011, I’ve been playing this online game and just recently I met a new friend (a girl) that I’m talking to now everyday. I consider her as an older sister since she’s way older than me. Since I treasure her a lot, I keep sending her gifts and surprised her “big time” on her birthday. 

And yeah as expected, she told me that I’m the best(est) friend she ever had and never ever in her life did someone did it for her. She even told me I made her feel very loved and asks me how could she top it on my birthday? I wanna laugh - but actually deep inside of me , I was  touched....so much. So if you would be my friend, you’ll know that I would surprise you as well. I’m good at it. *winks*

Anyways, I do feel like I’m a boring person. But hey! Maybe, I could also be fun sometimes. (Probably!)

I used to love reading books. I don’t know now. Maybe because I don’t have much time? Or just because I’m lazy? Or got better priorities to do?

Btw, I’m not that kind of person who keeps up with the trendy international english musics. My taste really goes to those from my own country and some OST’s from the k-dramas I’ve watched.

Well, I’m also a person who used to be scared of taking challenges. Lately, I can feel myself being open to experience them though.

And yes, I’m contented with my life. I’ve got a perfect family, got a lot of friends and I can buy what I want (not those that are too expensive though). But of course, this life of mine wouldn’t be possible without God. So I do promise to do my best to love and serve others in the best way that I can because I know that serving them is serving God as well.

OMG! Can’t believe I’ve wrote something that long.  Anyways, here’s some questions this blog  shouldn’t miss.

1. Where do i see myself 10 years from now? Was my learning in SPUP vital to where i’m leading to?

Ten years from now, I can see myself working in a good accounting firm , doing some presentations and closing a nice deal to investors. Yes, SPUP  taught me the value of friendship and prayer. It taught me to just have fun while learning . It clearly taught me that what matters most isn’t  being on top and leaving others behind , but being on top and helping others make their way up to you. You don’t need to compete with anyone, but yourself. Fight until you make it, and you must do it with a prayer. For me, God is my greatest inspiration and through all these years, prayer is my best weapon that I’ll make sure to bring wherever I go.

 2. Was ABM the best choice after all?

For me, yes it is. I can feel that I really “fit” on this strand. I can truly say I have never ever regret choosing it. Challenges will surely come but I’m 100% contented that I will surpass this path. Since my dream or career is being an Accountant, I believe this strand would provide me primary knowledge about it. What I love doing or my passions lies here. Trust me, I know I wouldn’t enter something that will surely waste my time. 

 3. What course will you take in college and why?

Accountancy. I want to follow the footsteps of my father and since I believe I could also pursue a good future on this path, I’ll do my very best. I also think that I work well with numbers. And if someday, that I’d like to put up a business of my own, it wouldn’t be much a big problem anymore. I also believe that Accounting touches my life in one way or another.

4. What topic would you like to learn more in Empowerment Technology Subject?

Honestly, anything may do. I believe that every topic would be fun and exciting. But one thing I probably wanna learn is how to do coding to put up a site of my own. In the future , I wanna create a virtual game like the one I’m playing and addicted into. (Yeah it’s the GIF up there ^)

Yeah, I would really want to learn the art of blogging. Being able to do this far gave me so much joy.   

  Most of you might wonder what’s with the name “Fundabidozi” ?

Let me explain to you 

Ok so the origin of that name is from the word “Fandabidozi” which means great or very good. Since it’s taken, I thought of just using “Fundabidozi”- so that would mean I am a person that do good things in a fun way!
