tamarack and qius dynamic drives me CRAZY the way they are polar opposites needs to be studied. people pleaser vs most independent kid ever. unstoppable force vs immovable object.

but some parts of their dynamic, i think, are really underrated

i love them so much, like this scene from the demo especially:

like it is already sad to see a kid like qiu deflate immediately when he thinks he made a mistake. qiu gets sooo upset at himself but tamarack just dgaf and reassures him that hes not dumb. not only does she say that, but she also says that he is too smart. like. the line "the conclusion she came to hadn't made a lot of sense but it did make qiu feel better" brooooooooooooooooooooo. tamarack is so straightforward and blunt to most of qiu's antics but it is also why she is so earnest! and qiu is caught off-guard by it too but quickly accepts it!

im looking forward to the development of their friendship so much (i NEED the friendship reconciliation scene in step two..............)
