Kinda sad that the first time I upload in soon a year is a vent, but Brightheart was perfect for me to vent out my irrational fear of the giant monster from Rain World

Did they ever talk about the post-traumatic stress she must experience? Did they ever bring up the fear she must have for dogs?

Here’s the sketches I made in prep for the animation meme I made!

It’s super sketchy, but I really like the designs for Dove and Ivy... Oh and I took some notes in swedish, so?? easter egg for anyone who knows swedish I suppose. They barely make any sense though...

(ur art is gorgeous :) im not trying to b mean in any way!!) but ive seriously never met someone who liked both ivypool and dovewing, they're biased in one way. for me, ive never understood the hype for ivypool bc she literally Hated her sister and so she went to train in hell? like... over smth dovewing had no control over and tried to make amends with? im so glad she got better because i could not stand her 😔

Oh that’s very fair! Interesting point, sparks lotsa discussions! Maybe most people get to annoyed with Dovewing’s slight lean towards mary sue, and so hover towards Ivy instead?

Both had tons of issues with how they were written, but got lots of potential! They should work as a unit, though most people (as you said) are biased one way or another! Personally I relate a lot more to Dove because of the pressure she is implied to be under, but I think that neither of the sisters are better than the other. If the writing hadn’t been wonky, Dove and Ivy would prolly be much more of a yin-yang situation and less of what we got!! :0
