I'm a firm believer in genderfluid Junko. Shes constantly getting bored with herself and switching personalities, so it makes sense they'd switch genders too. His choice for a fursona is a genderless bear that also acts like a 30 year old man and goes by he/him (and now he/they) pronouns and calls himself "Mr monokuma." And the remnents refer to junko as "that person" and use they/them pronouns to refer to them, even when nobody would know who they're talking about either way. Like with mikan. Saying "she" wouldn't tell the others anything because none of them know who junko is. Obviously from a writing perspective it's to hide it from the readers. But I like to think it's because junko uses all pronouns.
