My Three Favorite Microwave Mug Recipes!
Hi, I would love to share some fun and easy recipes with you! Follow along with this blog to find some very tasty recipes.
The first of three delicious mug recipes I would like to share with you is a quick and easy recipe for microwave macaroni and cheese in a mug. For this recipe you will need pasta, water, milk, cornstarch, cheddar cheese, and salt and pepper.
Ingredients:
⅓ cup pasta
¾ cup cold water
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon cornstarch
¼ cup cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
In a microwave safe mug add your pasta and water.
Cook for 3.5 minutes or until pasta is fully cooked.
Strain pasta
Add in milk, cornstarch, and cheese.
Cook for 1 more minute
Stir and add in salt and pepper.
Enjoy!
I love this recipe so much because it is quick, easy, and so delicious. I enjoy that you don’t need too many ingredients and that it can be made in only a few minutes. It is also nice that it is made in the microwave which allows it to cook well without dirtying a lot of pots, pans, and other utensils and dishes.
The second mug recipe I want to share with you is a super yummy recipe for brownie in a mug. For this recipe all you need is all purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, brown sugar, salt, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons brown sugar
⅛ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a microwave safe mug mix flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt.
Then add milk, oil, and vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients
Add in chocolate chips
microwave for 1 minute and 40 seconds
Enjoy!
I love this recipe because it is so yummy and sweet. It is the perfect desert because it is easy, quick, and delicious.
The final mug recipe I want to show you is a super yummy chocolate chip cookie in a mug. For this you will need butter, sugar, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, egg yolk, all purpose flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 egg yolk
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a mug
Add in sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
Separate egg yolk
Add in egg yolk
Add in flour and baking soda
Add in chocolate chips
Cook for 45 seconds
Enjoy!
I love this recipe because it is so delicious. It is also very easy to make and not very time consuming. It also doesn't take too many dishes which is great for cleaning up.

Delicious Smoothies and a Special Guest Interview!
Today, I want to share with you some of my favorite smoothie recipes. I love smoothies because they are super easy to make, you can easily make a smoothie before heading off to school or work. They are quick and portable. I love making a smoothie before heading to school, putting it in a water bottle and sipping my breakfast all morning. Therefore I hope you are able to find a smoothie recipe that intrigues you and want to try it for yourself.
The first recipe that I would like to share with you is a delicious berry smoothie. For this recipe you will need vanilla yogurt, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, milk, and a juice of your choice. I recommend pineapple juice, but orange juice will do the trick.
Ingredients:
1 cup vanilla yogurt
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ cup frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen raspberries
½ cup milk
¼ cup juice
Instructions:
Add your frozen fruits to a blender
Add in the juice, milk, and yogurt
Blend all ingredients
Pour out and enjoy!
I love this smoothie recipe in particular because it is super fast, meaning it is super easy to make in the morning or when you are in a crunch for time. Another reason I love this recipe is because it is so refreshing. I enjoy drinking smoothies in the summer because of how refreshing they are. They are also cold and delicious.
The next smoothie recipe I would recommend is a delicious citrus smoothie. For this smoothie you will need orange juice, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, banana, and milk.
Ingredients:
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup frozen pineapple
¼ cup frozen mango
1 banana
¼ cup milk
Instructions:
Add all your fruit to the blender
2. Add in your milk and juice
3. Blend all the ingredients
4. Pour out and enjoy!
These recipes are so unique and delicious. I love the mix of the citrus flavors from the juice and the fruit mixed with each other. I also love the mix of the berry flavors, I hope you found a smoothie recipe that interests you.
Finally, here is an interview with my close friend who loves cooking! My first question was “ What is your favorite recipe and why?” her answer to this was “ My favorite recipe is four cheese ravioli, because it’s so fun to roll out the noodle dough and fill each ravioli. I love sharing this meal with my family because it always has great feedback. Ravioli is such a great family meal and I love to experiment with different shapes of ravioli and different flavors of dough.” The next question that I asked was “ Do you have any cooking tips or tricks? If so, what are they and how do they help you?”. To this she answered “My cooking tip is to have fun and not live by a recipe, create your own spin on things, and I love to cook food that I'm not a fan of. It's always so fun to do and sometimes I end up liking the food.” My final question for her was “Have you ever tried any unique foods? If so, what?”. Her answer for this question was “ The most unique food I've tried was escargot, it was delicious but just a strange concept to wrap my head around, I definitely would try it again and recommend for others to try it as well!”
