Hear me out: Funnybunny in a parasocial relationship (Youtuber x Lonely Loser Fan)

• Basically Pomni sort of ‘lied’ about not being really being a Youtuber; she tells Jax when her job doesn’t pay her enough, she did start doing silly stuff in videos to get views and monetized.

• Still does the abandoned building stuff, but does ridiculous requests like when she’s streaming it live or listening to past comments favors. They want her to attempt singing opera in the dilapidated basement? Okay. They want her to practice poses on top of fallen furniture? Sounds kinda funny. She’ll do it.

• It’s also her form of ‘socializing’ since she’s pretty reserved. Too reserved that she doesn’t have that many friends. So… 3 to 5 commenters behind the screen laughing as she fooled around was a fun getaway from her lonely space.

• There was one livestream she couldn’t keep on public view because half the time she was running from the police, while the chat was a mix of unserious laughter, and panic and concern. (It was set to private for memory keeping).

• Pomni mentions there was always this one user she could’ve sworn must’ve been a high schooler. His username popped up plenty of times that Pomni remembers it by heart.

And while she’s not one to assume, since she’s been told by plenty of past coworkers that she’s “dull” and unattractive—she was sure that “kid” might’ve had a crush on her; That user often started his comments with how shitty of a day he had with school and parents, and how much it sucked that he’ll be going to college next year. And how glad he was that she had uploaded something tonight since she has this strange energy that kept him from staying mad. How she’s much better and down to earth than practically every dramatic bitch in his school.

Those were comments that always made her feel awkward. But flattered, but that kid really needed a therapist. Or a friend.

• When she mentions the username, Jax was subtly shocked. Like a new comfort memory unlocked. Then he asks Pomni what exactly her “channel name” was.

• Imagine his surprise when Pomni says the name of the very channel he misses going to whenever he wants a distraction.

• While his friends are subscribed to accounts on softcore sites (because that’s their idea of spending their past times), he was always waiting for uploads on that pretty lady doing stupid stuff during the middle of the night for the sake of excitement.

• His fucking comfort girl and internet crush was in the circus with him.
