He laughed and stepping out and quickly locking his door before going to the car and hopping in. He glanced behind him to the others. “Hey guys.”

Winter jumped out of her car and went up to Ben’s door and knocked. The entire gang had decided they would hit the local pool since it was supposed to be hot all day. She was already in her swimsuit. Which was a two piecethat was a pink and white striped top with solid pink short shorts.

He nodded. “Yep.” He chuckled a little as she said that and looked over. “Nice, shall we then?”

Ben had just been getting the last of what he needed into his messenger bag, dressed in a t-shirt and beige shorts, his bright green trunks under his shorts, when he heard the knock. He smirked as he placed his sunscreen in his bag and went to get the door. He smiled as he seen Winter standing there. “Hey perfect timing, I just finished getting my stuff together.”

“I know you guys may get sick of it but Winter really is amazing. She can be a little brash and reckless, especially with the murder sprees that Luigi can have, but that’s part of why I like her.” He adjusted his glasses a moment and smirked. “I still can’t believe that I got the job that I wanted for years. I know you both never really approved of the methods that GeneCo took but I would hope that you guys understand why I wanted it so bad.”

He gave a slight chuckle and shook his head. “I know I haven’t been here in a few weeks but work has been absolutely crazy. I really have been meaning to come but I’ve just been having call after call to get done and haven’t had a moment to breathe really.” He coughed slightly and ran a hand through his hair. “I’ve been good though, I keep meaning to bring the girl I keep telling you about but her work schedule is just as crazy as mine and so is her boss.” He laughed softly as he mentioned that comment regarding Luigi.

“She really is amazing though, you guys would have loved to meet her. She’s been really good for me, she is willing to put up with most of the crazy ideas I have and her bro is a cool dude also.” He smiled, wishing he had at least thrown out the offer for the gang to tag along but he hadn’t, thinking they would find it weird.
