I played in the dirt today, weeded and dug up the flower patch, and then I made a mud pit with grass, leaves and roots for the Robins. They use those to build their nests, and one of them came to sort through things right after. They do not need me to provide them with stuff for their nests, I do this just for fun.

Anyway if nothing else matters then I hope people remember that Pope Francis used his last public address to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and call Israel a terrorist state:
"I continue to receive very serious and painful news from Gaza. Unarmed civilians are subjected to bombings and shootings. It is terrorism."

As someone who has always been an ally of the LGBTQ community, it is indeed disturbing what is happening in the UK. The transphobic policies and even platform that someone like JK Rowling is giving to such views is utterly disgusting. It only fuels further hatred, discrimination, isolation and basically telling a part of the community that they are unwanted. Needless to say it can lead to tragic events, people feeling left out and in despair, because of the lack of empathy and understanding or even acknowledging them and their situation. Hardly surprsing that this is coming from the same people that ignore the genocide, that always find a group of people unworthy of their support or empathy. The "others" that they dont consider equal or deserving full rights or the right to safety and protection.
Trans lives matter. And i will always stand behind them, no matter how much the elites or prevailing opinion is against them. As we have seen so many times, even the majority or especially those in power can be on the wrong side of history and justice way too often.

The Conversation was released on 7 April 1974.
In between The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather Part II (Dec 1974), Francis Ford Coppola made arguably his best film, which received the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival (in May) and 3 Academy Award nominations (Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Sound), and made a profit at the box office, but was considered a disappointment compared to the successes of The Godfather films.
