okay so, years in the future in the alpha(tye) timeline. shouchi has reestablished his friendship with byakuran, but keeps a careful, guarded distance from the obvious to both of them romantic potential, just refusing to go down that road. byakuran doesn't push for understandable "a bit of a guilt complex" reasons. in the meantime, shouichi's relationship with spanner blossoms into a committed romance, making the 10051 friendship this much more awkward, but they make it work, both unwilling to completely distance from each other.
