All my excitement and joy about this season aside, I just have to get my biggest gripe off my chest and that’s how they did Felice so fucking dirty. She quit horseback riding and that was it, that was the only agency she had, the only decision SHE actually made that affected the plot in any sense. She was a supporting character otherwise for everyone else: a friend, a roommate, another fucking victim of Wilhelm’s devastatingly public sex life. She had no plot, very little character development, and existed only to be a sounding board for other characters to interact with. It’s frustrating because Nikita is a phenomenal actress and they put her in all of the promo as like one of the main five cast but for fucks sake Marcus had more agency than she did. It was really annoying to me. There are so many good directions they could have taken her character! Her being able to stand up to her parents where Wilhelm couldn’t so we could see them contrasted as foils, her obsessive, loyal detective work in the end of last season maybe becoming overbearing or going too far. They touched on this dishonesty thing a bit in the sixth episode but goddamnit, SHOW me, don’t tell me. They completely disregarded her and I am honestly really kind of pissed off about it. I really did love this season but this was a huge miss for me

not mad @ how her character the last two episodes, she was given sumn to do on her own accord. I needed that more considering how much they can do with her character.

imma need her to have a LI and her own subplot next time. I realized that the Sara/August plot that they kinda scooched her aside for was necessary, but in the meantime she could’ve been given stuff else to do other than being Wille’s friend/confident in those starter episodes. (Gave me vibes of *cough* blk best fren stereotype *cough* which I do not sit well with in 2022)

I trust Lisa as this show is so well written (though I have reservations about the selfishness of Wille’s relationship with Simon, we recognize it but the show never addresses it too much), but I am disappointed with the road they took with Felice this season. Though like I said, I trust that she has sumn in store for my queen bee 🤞🏾
