ACONITE’S XIA COLLABORATES ON A CHOREOGRAPHY WITH HANSOL FROM PHANTASIA ENTERTAINMENT TRAINEE GROUP, PUTTI!

Xia (also known as Wang Mingxia) has collaborated on a choreography with Korean-Hong Konger Hansol (also known as Chiu Hansol) from Phantasia Ent trainee group, Putti! The video was posted to Phantasia Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and according to the description, was choreographed by the two of them. The dance is slow yet sharp and showed off their abilities as dancers.

It’s well known that Xia is a great dancer, having had a career in ballet back in Taiwan. Not much has been revealed about Hansol, though it is rumored that he was street casted after a casting director saw him dancing on the street. We look forward to hearing more Hansol and Putti!

Aconite Reveals Secret Behind Tears At Comeback Showcase

Rookie girl group Aconite recently made their comeback last week Tuesday with their title track “A Girl Like Me” and 2nd mini album “Vainglory”. The group had announced their comeback was to be pushed to the middle/end of the month of June due to some complications that were brought up, so the group was unable to comeback successfully at the beginning of the month.

This piece of information is linked to the heart filled event that took place at the seven-member girl group’s first comeback showcase. A song, lyrics written by Aconite member Swan, by the name of “Downpour” caught the eye of many fans and netizens. The girls were unable to deliver a proper performance due to their tears that had them all choked up. It wasn’t until recently, in an interview, a few days ago that leader Lynx had explained their situation.

According to the interview Lynx said, “many, for a few days, have been curious as to what our situation was during our last performance [Downpour] and I’d like to take this time to explain that although this song means differently to Swan, we all have felt a hole since we debuted. We’ve been struggling [to make money] since then and all have worked hard.”

From then each of the members explained that they have taken up different jobs from working at coffee shops all the way to modeling. It’s a shame to see such a talented group like Aconite be struggling to make it in the industry, but it also shows that there’s still more to work for even after debut. According to the writer of the lyrics, Swan, she has explained that the lyrics talk about a parting with someone and in this case the girls have all parted, sadly, with those who once supported them. The performance was an emotional one as the girls could not forget all the hardships from their trainee years up to their first comeback.

Although it is a sad parting for the girls and those who have once supported them, please continue to support Aconite so these talented monster rookies don’t have to work part time jobs during their breaks.

[Vlive Showcase] 아코나이트 (Aconite)_Vainglory

On June 20th, Rookie girl group Aconite made their comeback as vain witches in hope to find love for themselves. The girls held yet another concert length showcase that showcased not only their music but covers of senior idols’ songs as well as showcasing three pre-released songs.

According to Double Kill, the girl group was supposedly to comeback earlier in the month but delayed and although there is still no statement as to what the set back was it could be due to the fact that Aconite had learned several different routines as well as fixing their schedules to fit their senior’s schedule. Senior Mellow member Juniper (@95vii) made an appearance in Aconite’s pre-released song titled “Bang” alongside with ex-Jellybeans members (to debut as Blush) Ari (@gvareum) and Kimiko (@kimoriz).

Aconite continues to wow the public with their outstanding performances which have gained them titles such as monster rookie idols due to their amazing stage presence and performance live. Once again, the girls have dedicated a song to their fans titled “Over N Over” but it is not the song that has captured to hearts of the fans, but “Downpour” which was the closing song to Aconite’s comeback showcase. Through this vlive the girls can be seen shedding tears as soon as their last song is played and through ‘till the end. The mystery behind the tears have yet to be revealed, so hopefully the members of Aconite will be able to touch up on what happened during their last performance at their comeback showcase.

Aconite Comeback As Vain Witches!

Aconite has finally dropped their awaited comeback music video for “A Girl Like Me” and have returned this time as vain witches. According to the teasers, and Double Kill themselves, the genius rookie group has decided to take a different path from being creators of love to finding love.

The story line can be pieced together by the music videos that have been released from the girls’ debut to their first comeback. “A Girl Like Me” is a song that expresses oneself and has an overflowing amount of confidence as the girl tries to get the boy to fall in love with her.

The music video, shockingly, is still filled with rather bright colors and in contrast to that the girls have also used many dark colors to highlight the fact that this is in fact a rather edgier concept. It goes along well with the concept chosen, witches, but still allows room for the playful girl group Aconite have debuted as back in February. Along with the song and overall theme of vanity, each member can be seen in a different type of self confidence whether it be a room of mirrors to a room with their faces all over, the music seems to have matched well.

Aconite Releases 2nd Mini Album “Vainglory”

Vainglory was released June 20th 2017 and is Aconite’s first comeback. The mini album title has relations to the girl group’s title track “A Girl Like Me” as it is a song that has confidence in one’s appearance, hence the constant want in making the person their lover as they’ve never seen a girl like them. The over all album holds all sorts of love songs, breakups even, but also shows some sort of confidence in each.

The mini album is produced by several people which include Horae, VYBE (company duo: @moonbmsk & @rizalxbin), Zion (idol trio: @edensi, @hyeonxu & swan), as well as the girl group, Aconite themselves. All have come together to create a masterpiece album that highlights the group’s overall sound. The mini album even includes a song that was written for fans, “Over N Over”. The overall mini has a sound that is quite similar to the group’s debut, but has added an edge to it was the rookie’s concept.

[PREVIEW] ACONITE_2ND MINI ALBUM_VAINGLORY

After the constant teasing of genius rookie girl group Aconite’s comeback, Double Kill has finally released a medley highlight of their 2nd mini album titled, “Vainglory”.

Aconite had revealed that their debut is actually brightly colored but uses a dark theme to bring out an edgier side to them, which was then said to be the other half of Aconite. The concept for this comeback is witches and the girls have all participated in creating their second mini album along with the help of famous producers such as Horae, a rather newly popular group of producers, Double Kill’s producing duo VYBE ((@moonbmsk) and as well as Zion who is said to be made up of Utopia’s Eden (@edensi), yet to debut boy group Knockback’s Grim (@hyeonxu) and lastly Aconite’s Swan. The idol trio has so far produced one track for fellow label mate, Yanyan of Aconite, and has participated in a few songs from Aconite’s new album.

It seems that Aconite is living up to their label as 2017′s genius rookie idol group as the mini album consists of music that was, once again, worked on by the members and there is one in particular that is written just for fans, the song is titled “Over N Over”. The over all color of the album still stays within the girl group’s image at is seen as playful yet as hard hitting beats that compliments the edgier concept the girls have decided to display. “A Girl Like Me”, although not worked on the members, the lyrics were written by the members and each have written the lyrics to fit the concept of vanity. It’s a fitting title for this edge concept of witches. There is only a few more days until Aconite’s comeback, so make sure to keep an eye out for the girls.

Aconite Releases Group Teasers For “A Girl Like Me”

The final wait for the full explanation of the rookie group Aconite’s comeback is revealed with the group teaser photos for their title track “A Girl Like Me”. According to the girl group’s label, Double Kill, the overall concept this time around is witches.

With they first started teasing  “A Girl Like Me” it was then that the first teaser played a critical role as leader Lynx’s teaser was actually a hint to the girl group’s comeback concept. Double Kill revealed that there is still yet a few more surprises the girls have with their concept.

This is a rookie group that all are labeling as the new genius rookies of 2017 and that is due to the fact that these girls have actually worked on their own album, everything musically. “Vainglory” is Aconite’s 2nd mini album and the songs, once again, the mini was shared to be worked on the girl group members themselves. The overall album is said to carry meaningful music and lyrics, different from their debut release. The comeback is coming up fast and there is still more to be revealed, so make sure to keep an eye out for Aconite’s title track, “A Girl Like Me”.

Aconite Releases Individual Member Teaser Photos of Dana & Xia

Double Kill releases the last batch of individual teasers which end with the two youngest, Dana (@98dajeong) and Xia (@98mingxia). The teasers do not really change as they keep dark or minimal colors, most of which are just black and white with the different hair colors each member has. The concept is a little drastic in change when comparing it to the rookie group’s debut “Cupid” that was more of a brighter concept, since the girls were said to be a bright colored group, but hopefully they stay true to their group image.

So far, we know that there is a deep connection from their debut to the special release before this comeback that connect them together. According to Double Kill, who decided to drop a spoiler, commented by saying that the girls are looking for love rather than playing cupid and putting couples together. The mirror was said to play a big role, which then was revealed that the overall concept revolves around oneself.

The album title was revealed to be “Vainglory” which if one didn’t know what it meant, it’s to take pride on oneself; excessive vanity. Many believe that this is a witch themed comeback and it wouldn’t be surprising since the very first teaser, Lynx was seen holding an apple which indicated that she is the evil queen. Aconite’s comeback isn’t too far away now, so make sure to be on the look out for more of this genius rookie girl group as more will be revealed with time.

Aconite Announces Comeback In June

Girl group, Aconite, was recently spotted sporting new hair styles and colors in which left fans wondering if the genius rookie group would be making a comeback soon. To many surprise, Aconite revealed they were in fact supposed to have their comeback in early June but due to some complications had their comeback date pushed back.

The group revealed that their concept may be a little shocking to not only their fans but to the public, but have not said anything further about their concept. Double Kill took in action to say that a few familiar producers have been working closely with the girls on their comeback album, again this album is also co-produced by the members themselves, and have gone as far as choreographing a few of their side tracks with the help of their choreographer.

Aconite Releases Dance Video Of 2 ON with Mellow’s Sophie!

Although it hasn’t been that long since fans last saw genius rookie girl group Aconite, a sudden release from this group has left fans in shock. This girl group is known to be a vocally powerful group but it looks like they’re proving they have a side to them that’s strong in the dance field, it also helps that Aconite already has four strong dancers with the rest having some sort of background or knowledge in that area.

Mellow’s Sophie ( @hwangsia ) can be seen front and center in this collaboration with her juniors. According to some of the members of Aconite, Sophie has participated in the choreography seen in the video along with the rest of the group.

DON OF KNOCKBACK AND XIA OF ACONITE COVER HEART WRENCHING HIP HOP TRACK, ‘A REAL MAN’.

Don of 2K’s yet-to-debut KNOCKBACK and ACONITE’s main vocal XIA collaborate on a cover ‘A Real Man’, originally performed by Swings and Ailee. Don, also known as Wang Dong Soo ( @wngdxng ) is the main rapper of his group and his talent shows as he raps to the song, swag and passion exuding from every word. Despite having not yet debuted, you can see how skilled he is - he must have trained extremely hard during his trainee days! Xia, also known as Wang Mingxia, sings beautifully, accompanying the male. This is the second time the girl group member has collaborated with a member of KNOCKBACK. The two work together so well, we have nothing but high expectations for the two in the future. XIA, MEMBER OF GIRL GROUP ‘ACONITE’, AND KNOCK BACK’S JEON.K COLLABORATE ON A CHOREOGRAPHY!

Xia, also known as Wang Mingxia, collaborates on a special choreography with one of the members of the yet to debut Knock Back and label mate, Jeon.K ( @93jeonk ). The video was posted to Jeon.K’s instagram, showing a 60 second video of the pair. The two appear to be in a park as they dance, with the background music in the back. The song itself showcases outstanding vocal and melodies, and the two dance beautifully and are perfectly in sync. The video does end rather abruptly, leaving fans to wonder if there is more to the video than what’s posted, some even hoping that a longer version will be uploaded. Regardless, we are excited to see more of Xia’s projects, as well as Knock Back’s debut. Xia and Jeon.K fighting!

AVID have released their debut music video for “Rocket”!

“Rocket” is the title track of AVID’s first Single of the same name! “Rocket” will leave you in awe with the girl’s cuteness mixed with an EDM vibe. The girls caught the attention with their debut as the maknae and leader are 10 years apart!

In the MV, the members, Deokhye, Soul, Chaeyeong, Zara and Xia are on a sleepover, where they seem to enjoy each other rather well. In the middle, it seem like their closet explodes and they fly rocket high together in a tub!
