From a very short story in the Dent (Cilan) x Irid Anthology, Iris is suddenly a Choroneko (Purrloin) who can't speak! She tries to get Dent (Cilan)'s attention, but he can't understand her meowing (although the readers can read her translated thoughts), he just keeps gasping and screaming... then, ends up shaking, but, rather than out of fear, he just inexplicably finds her... unbearably cute?!

Iris is baffled, but also very embarrassed, fff.

She turns back with a kiss! ♡

It's a Shootie-focused doujinshi (シューティーのほん by Clunker), but Dent (Cilan)'s a showstealer in his brief appearances... as he should be!

Shootie (Trip) taking Adeku (Alder)'s advixe to grow up quickly a bit too literally and chugs milk so fast, he makes himself sick ("onaka itai..." "my tummy hurts..." ^^;;)

Dent misinterprets a scene and gets his feelings hurt, thinking Iris loves someone else, so he just kind of miserably sits with two cones of ice cream, alone, until Iris pops up to take one ("This one's mine, right?"), Dent gets all flustered about "that person" and if it's really alright, what about that person...

It's all a misunderstanding and Iris gets all frustrated with Dent'a awkwardness, what about that person??? "The one I like [love] is the one with ice cream, that's all!"

Dent's stunned, but then laughs and says Iris, "Iris... that was... almost like how a little kid would say it, wasn't it?"

Cue Iris getting flustered and angry.

"Huh?! Even after all the trouble someone just—"

"After all of... what?"

"... I've had enough!"

"Sorry, sorry. (laugh)"

Aside from the fun 4koma, the main story in the Shootie-focused doujinshi (シューティーのほん by Clunker) has to do with Shootie taking shelter in a deserted church from the rain, but he's already uneasy because he took a picture with eerie, floating blue flames in it...

There's a lot of creaking and banging sounds when he hides inside, which he tries to reassure himself are just "coincidences, coincidences..."

A funny detail is that, despite being so on edge, he make a himself a hot drink off-panel at some point? I see no teabag and there is no audience to perform drinking coffee black for so I want to assume it's hot cocoa. ... or maybe a milkier hot chocolate, it's pretty pale, fff.

There's a touching display of loyalty from Pururill (Frillish) and Lampler (Lampent), who release themselves to keep him safe, and he goes from very wary and startled even by raindrops (the roof is leaking) to bolder and more ready to take on whatever enemy is approaching...!

Iiiit's just Satoshi (Ash) and friends. Dent helpfully explains the Onibi (Will-o'-Wisp) as coming from a Deathmas (Yamask), although Satoshi seems to take Shootie's side more, but what about all those loud noises Shootie heard? ... but, as Dent explains jt was, uh, Satoshi himself who caused them, pushing things around, pffft.

Iris, in a bit of Iris typical hypocritical humour, calls Shootie a child for still believing in obake (bakemono, changed beings, the class of monsters in mythology who started off as mundane creatures or even inanimate objects)...

Have some pouting.

Very, very cute little doujinshi, it feels like a combination of Hitomoshi (Litwick) Mansion, Shippou (Nacrene) City Musuem, and Four Seasons Lineup (the Mebukijika [Sawsbuck] episode)...

Ah, I've been wanting to draw my two boys meeting each other for the first time for ages. Though, there seems to be a theory that Amethio's family is from Unova, so maybe he and Montgomery crossed paths somewhere before. I could definitely see them being neighbors

Snivy's proud, strong, bickers with Emolga (who's more likely to use her charms to exploit others for food, etc., and according to Meowth, they both call each other choice words he doesn't want to translate, "Fights between female Pokemon are scary!"), tough, but cares for baby Pokemon like Axew...

Her past is mysterious, as she's very proud, but there's several hints she's not telling the whole truth about abandoning her trainer for being "weak"... either she was abandoned (and lies to feel like she had more control over the situation) or she had to escape/abandon her former trainer due to neglect or abuse...

She's too proud to admit it, but she took Pignite's battle against his emotionally abusive and manipulative trainer Shamus VERY personally, going up against two Fire types for him when he couldn't battle anymore from the shock at realizing Shamus faked his sorrow at their parting.

Her words to the Decolore Pirates that they could always abandon "useless trainers" also had Iris say, "So something DID happen to [Snivy] after all..."

Her nature is a very proud and self-reliant one, so she won't like to be seen as a victim, even if she likely once was one.

It was Ash protecting Pikachu that Snivy couldn't forget and inspired her decision to allow herself to be captured. ^^ It's loyalty and kindness she was likely missing...
