Whenever Lexa wasn't on duty, she would either be jogging through the woods or working out at the gym. She had found a nice one not too far away from her place and close enough to the fire house. She was sipping on her water bottle when the other approached her. "No, I prefer taking my jogging outside, preferably in the woods." She told the other. "Although, seems like everyone decided to take the treadmill today." She chuckled.
@fylstmuses lexa
abby was glad when she found a gym near her apartment. she always liked using the one back in the stadium and hadn’t really found one she liked here until this one. it was small, but she didn't mind that. after doing some weights and upper body stuff, she waited patiently for a treadmill to open up. “waiting on one too?” she asked the person next to her.

Drogon had come to realize while being here that they weren't a fan of big crowds. They were trying to fit in, go out and meet people but it was easier said than done. Drogon lacked the social skills to strike conversations with people and more often than not, they would just leave before even meeting anyone. "Oh well, that's not a bad idea, sometimes all of this can be a little too much." They admitted with a nod of their head. "Mostly if you're not used to it."
@fylstmuses --- baela and drogon
"honestly? if you're sick of all the noise i would just hide over here," baela mused as she looked at the other with her drink in her hand. at this point she was no stranger to large gatherings and the like, but that didn't mean once in a while she didn't want to just stop hearing people talk. "it's the perfect place. no one expects you to be here."

The other's words caught their attention. Drogon turned their head to face the girl next to them. "You also knew how to fly?" They asked, sensing something familiar about the other but not really being able to point out what it was. "I used to be a dragon, I miss flying too."
helaena targaryen & drogon ( @fylstmuses )
helaena sighed as she watched the bird fly above her. it made her miss being home - the feeling of being able to fly whenever she wanted. "I miss being able to fly, this city is so stifling."

It was surreal, to think that the both of them ended up here and somehow they were now stuck in human bodies. They were glad though, to see their brother again, to see that he was alive and safe here. "You did." Drogon nodded their head, letting out a sigh. "There was nothing we could do." Drogon reached forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "It's strange, still getting used to this but I miss being a dragon." They admitted to the other. "I'm so glad you're here though, that you're safe."
drogon. was it true? they were both here. two dragon siblings who had turned into humans. he did not think they would lie about it. didn't understand the emotions he felt in the moment. all he knew it made him happy seeing them ❝ it is. i died? i barely r-rem-mber ❞ tried fighting back tears. didn't understand what was going on with him ❝ hi. look at you! human too ❞ he couldn't help to chuckle. this was both amazing and shocking. they communicated as humans now, acted like them, but he believed deep down they will still be their old self.

Violet was near the ambulance, making sure they had everything they needed restocked before going back to the station. "Oh I'm sorry about that, although you should start telling your patients to be more careful and not hurt themselves." She smiled, before catching the water bottle from the other. "I'm fine. I worked in Chicago, I can assure you that it was just as bad, if not worse back there."
@fylstmuses - violet
"You brought me more work to do," he commented as he neared violet, a stoic expression his normal as he looked her over once. "You seem overworked as well, try to relax," he said as he tossed a bottle of water towards her, "I refuse to help you if you pass out on me"

Violet turned around and looked at the other. "Oh thank you so much, I didn't even notice I had lost them." She said, taking the keys from her. "You saved my life here."
@fylstmuses - Vee & Violet
❛ here, i noticed you lost this earlier. ❜ Vee said holding out the object towards the other.

It has been six months since Violet showed up in DC and she was still finding out about new places. This bar was one of those places, it seemed to have a good vibe so she decided to check it out. Although, it was far too crowded, it seemed like a lot of people had the same idea as her. "Oh thank you. I was going to but this feels far too crowded for my liking." She paused. "I might try and go find another place around here."
@fylstmuses --- alrik and violet
"did you need this seat? i was on my way out." honestly the whole are had become far too crowded for alrik's liking. the people pushing in closer gave him a small sense of claustrophobia and he was more than happy to see his way out of it all. "this place has been found out by one too many people. so much for peace and quiet."

Drogon nodded their head. "Yes, it's not a big place but I think it's enough for the both of us." They didn't know why they offered, maybe it was the fact that whatever it was, they felt a connection with the other. Drogon pushed it away for a moment, they had felt that before and it lead to nothing. Although, when the other introduced himself, Drogon froze in place. "Viserion?" They asked for a moment. "Is that really you? You're alive?" Drogon moved forward now, emotions taking over, something they were not used to. "It's me, it's Drogon." They finally said.
he felt a connection towards the other. as if they had met before. are they from the same place? he could not figure it out. that annoyed him ❝ yeah ❞ it's what he meant. happy they understood him when the words didn't come out as he wanted them to ❝ i can? thank you. you sure? ❞ vis did not want to bother anyone ❝ a what is it called.. letting a stranger live with you? ❞ that could be dangerous when you don't know them, even he understood ❝ viserion, or vis for short. bad with words, not can talk much, mean i can't ❞

Drogon shook their head. "It's alright. I mean, I haven't been in this place for that long, I'm still adjusting, making friends I guess that's what people call it."
"Oh, okay thanks. I just asked just in case I was disturbing you" Jihyo said with a thankful nod.

Lexa shook her head as she looked at the other. "Oh no, it's empty." She assured him with a smile. "You can take it if you want."

❛ umm, is this seat taken ? ❜ WALL-E asked Lexa.

Lexa raised an eyebrow as the other spoke up. She didn't want to sound rude or anything, but what he had said really sounded cringe. "I'm sorry." She chuckled, shaking her head slightly. "I mean, I'm not really that old but I can't keep up with whatever it is the youth is saying now a days so I wouldn't feel too bad about it." She tried to assure the other.
@fylstmuses --- ethan and lexa
"yeah, i know, what i said was super lame." ethan admitted with a cringe. due to missing out on so much time with his daughter he was trying to sound hip, stay up to date with whatever it is the youth was saying these days. yet every time he tried to put what he learned in to practice it made him look so awkward. "i guess i'm too old to be out here saying 'it's giving sad grandma florals'."

"Fair enough. I'm sure you'll figure it out, I guess just give it time and try to be there for her as much as you can. She'll appreciate that." She said, shrugging her shoulders. "You won't, be yourself and be there, I guess that's what matters at the end of the day." Lexa smiled at her. "Sure, that sounds great. I could do a coffee right now."
"If I knew I wouldn't be asking," she huffed, hating not having the answer to this. She didn't want to say she was logical but she found that having an answer to a problem helped her in the long run. "I just don't want to disappoint her," she shrugged, "but I appreciate it. Can I buy you a coffee for listening to me?"

"I'm not sure if she's going to be very thrilled about that, but as long as you deliver me safely to her doorstep, it shouldn't be a problem." A laugh escaped his lips, he was glad to meet Shawn and finally have some familiar connections. This place was giving him a chance to meet his family. "I guess so, one can be hopeful."
"Mom schmom, it's my job as an uncle to give you as much fun as possible and then drop you off at her doorstep," he scoffed, before a hint of sadness showed in his eyes. That was the world they lived in - it was kill or be killed and Shawn was one of the unlucky ones and it seemed this guy's father was as well. "Hey," he said, returning back to his normal self, "if someone like me made it back I'm sure your dad did too"

"I don't think I ever got yelled at by an old person." He chuckled along with her. Even though he definitely had a difficult personality to deal with, he always tried to be nice to people. "Really?" He asked, titling his head to the side. Could she have met his dad before? Maybe from their world? "Atlanta. I know it sounds a bit crazy but I come from a world that has been destroyed by an apocalypse."
"Who hasn't?" she chuckled, knowing she was not the star student of DC and she didn't want to be - she was fine with being the local outcast, at least in her mind it was better that way. "That name, uh... That sounds really familiar," she quietly said, a small ache in her head beginning to become apparent. "Right, yeah, you too... About this Glenn guy, where's he from?"

"That's true, but I actually don't mind it. I can say I much prefer having to deal with this than dealing with what I had to back in my world." Being a waitress definitely was not as bad as having to worry about infected or the apocalypse. "It definitely is, I would not change it for the world. JJ is my everything."
"Work is too damn taxing, I say we all take a vacation and enjoy our lives," she hummed, knowing that her words only went so far - her having a job herself, mainly out of fun seeing as she never really needed to worry about funds. "I can imagine, never been one but I've heard it's quite taxing yet rewarding"

Finn shrugged his shoulders. "No harm done." He said once again, assuring the other that everything was alright. A chuckle escaped his lips. "Oh really? So you do tend to get in trouble quite often then? Don't worry, I'm pretty certain I have my fair share of explaining to do as well."
"Still, super rude on my end," she said, knowing she had been raised better than that but there was something about this guy that gave her the kill bill sirens. "Well thank god for that, I have way too much to explain to him already" she joked

Hershel smiled at her. "You're Judith? Gosh, you're all grown up, but I guess so am I." He paused for a moment. "I'm Hershel, Hershel Rhee. Maggie in my mom and Glenn was my dad." He explained to her who he was, glad to have found someone from his world, someone who had been pretty much in the same position that he was.
"I wasn't born on Hilltop, but I was in the community too, yes! My name is Judith Grimes." She figured it would be easier to just start with her name, because most people would remember her as Carl's sister or Rick's kid, and well, either man would probably be remembered way more than her. "Um, Carl Grimes was my brother,r and Rick Grimes is my father. Oh! Michonne Grimes is my mother!"
