After reading Star Wars: The Rising Storm, I am 100% convinced Jedi Master Stellan Gios is autistic (speaking as an autistic person myself). This man is incredibly autistic coded, especially when you look at the parts from other characters’ perspectives versus the parts from his own perspective.

Autistic traits of his I can remember off the top of my head: He has special interests that he infodumps about, he is obsessed with things being exactly right, he doesn’t understand other people’s humor, other people don’t understand his humor, and he has a tendency to come off wrong to people who don’t know him, specifically people tend to think he “likes to hear himself talk” (because of the infodumps).

This man is an autistic icon.

Cassian Andor is my favorite leading man in Star Wars. Look at him watering his plants. I would die for this man. For the rebellion. And his plants.

rewatching rogue one after the finale, and yeah i do see lines differently now, because when chirrut says, "there's more than one sort of prison, captain. i sense you carry yours wherever you go," i immediately think of how cassian and melshi don't get knocked out by the stunners because they've become conditioned to electrical shocks from narkina 5. so that's fun.

“It’s everywhere now” is such a dope line. No matter how much tyrants want to suppress the spirit of rebellion and desire for freedom they can’t kill an idea.

Real world parallels are immense

“but I’m pretty sure she didn’t know I was alive until the reaping” is such a funny statement from a man who lives absolutely rent free in said girl’s head for the rest of his existence

the unresolved storyline of cassian’s missing sister is so poignant to me. life doesn’t always give you closure. him and his sister were separated and never reunited, and her that absence is something that motivated him until the very end. it was such a bold choice to leave it a mystery, and i respect that SO much 🙏

Can you believe. Can you believe that Kleya's bruises won't even have faded when everything she's been working for comes to fruition. Can you believe there might still be safehouse dust on her boots when the Death Star blows. Can you believe, against all odds, Star Wars' time-honored ability to make you see new ghosts again and again and again

Can we talk about how this moment between Jyn and Cassian hits harder now after we saw that scene with him and the council. He knew what it felt like to not be believed
