We are seeing an increase in medical emergencies where families need to secure funds as soon as possible. This is the case for Elaf Babiker and her family.

They are Sudanese refugees who have evacuated to Egypt. As they settle down, her aunt collapsed on Christmas Eve and was rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with brain stem hematoma, which meant her brain was bleeding! She was in intensive care, relying on the ventilator, as she was unable to breathe on her own, but the doctors required $1,700 USD for her month long stay in the hospital!

They will discontinue her treatment if we do not raise the amount in time! So please donate and share! There is $124 USD left to go! You can match me. I have given $5, but you're more than welcome to give any amount! ! !

I don't know how long this will last, but all I hear is: Iran, Israel, America... as if Gaza doesn't exist, as if the world has forgotten the people suffering there.

This has been the case of Mahmoud Hamam ( @ma7moudgaza2 ) , the founder of @/isnadfoundation. For days now Mahmoud has been trying to eat as little as possible, thereby starting his day with just a small packet of supplement 👇🏽

He works for hours at Isnad subsisting on just this, all so that the bag of flour may last his family a day more; the priority is for the food to go to the children and the elderly. But it has been wearing Mahmoud down- he can barely function now and it is terribly dehumanizing. Nowhere in the world does a bag of flour cost $500 USD! Nowhere do people get shot when they go to collect aid! Certainly nowhere in the global north which has been maintaining the existence of the settler colony for years.

So at least boost and donate for Mahmoud. At least help him raise the cost of a bag of flour, so that he might be able to eat something this week.

Iran celebrated, Israel celebrated the end of the war, and Gaza waits and calls, but no one listens. The war between Iran and Israel is over, but the war in Gaza is not over. Children are still dying, families are still being displaced, walking long distances, homes are still being demolished over the heads of those inside, and injustice still exists. Also, don't forget that hunger has never left people, but more importantly, Tumblr users, listen to me with your hearts. I always write posts asking you to participate with me and donate to my family, but unfortunately, I only find a few who do.
