ark survival ascended may be the worlds worst optimized game of all time that has every bug in existence but my desktop pc started as a glorified ark machine and by god it will die that way
i had a 3060ti. is it reasonable for a game to not hit 60fps on 2K with medium settings on a 3060ti even with frame gen enabled? absolutely the fuck not. did i buy a 4070 super and a new cpu to compensate? yes. can i now somehow hit 60-80fps on 2K on epic settings? for some reason yeah
#let me be clear if u dont know this: the 3060ti is not a weak card#it still outclasses the 4060 and the 5000 series came out only one month ago#ark is THE worst optimized game ever#i just tamed a ceratosaurus. which is new#and it glitched out so much the whole thing got fucked so i had to cheat to give myself the taming stuff again#and then it hit my stego into the mesh so i had to enable noclip to not lose all my shit#so i essentially paid 1000 bucks just to get got by bugs#my cpu WAS outdated as hell tho so i was planning to get a new one anyway#the gpu i have no excuse for
