It’s a bad idea to let your child watch The Sound of Music when they have a passion for sewing—they end up getting too inspired and ripping up curtains! I was that child. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried to sneak away from my mother while wearing her curtains, but I can’t help it! IKEA’s such a good source of fabric, and 70% of what we owned when I was younger was from them 😂 I have a few months till I move out again and I really hope mum doesn’t go looking for her curtains when she arrives back in Manila because they sure are comfortable 🤣
I used the chemise pattern from Simplicity 8162. Had to alter most of it since it’s based on Western sizes, even if it says it’s my size on the pack. Though I forgot to alter the length of my chemise, but it’s alright since it would go underneath my robe anyway.
I’ve just been keeping myself extremely busy until my country opens the flights back to/from Korea. I haven’t seen my fiancé since early March—when he was supposed to come back only 2 weeks to a month after—and the distance is killing me!
I really hope the world could find a solution to this pandemic soon.
Stay safe, everyone!

Being stuck in quarantine calls for new house clothes, so I decided to slowly shift from wearing lazy t-shirts/pajamas to wearing more comfortable garments made of skin-friendly fabric.
I made these stays in a span of one week while finishing Prison Break. Could’ve finished it earlier, but I decided to painstakingly sew most of it by hand since I didn’t want the stitches to show. My chemise on the last photo isn’t finished yet. I’ll upload more pictures of me wearing my chemise once I’m done hemming the edges and adding the drawstrings in.
