My first 2 refs for artfight are done! They're pretty alright for how rushed they are lmao.

This crusty home listing photo bequeathes a household manifestation:

"Husband, I feel you have failed to live up to our mission statement of engaging in fascinating ideas and conversation in this home. Your ideas are rather uninspiring and pedestrian, in fact. This isn't going to work out."

I dunno if it was just the books I've read in the past coincidentally just never used it, or maybe this is specifically a British lit thing, but without fail the word "morass" will be used at least once in every Warhammer book. I always thought that was a fairly uncommon descriptor but now I'm being haunted by the Warhammer morass. And this is multiple authors across multiple books, it's not just a fave word of one particular guy.
Maybe I have just been morass-blind in the past but I dunno I feel like I have never seen it used this consistently lmao

I just bitched about this in the tags and now GW sent me this what did I juST SAY
I love the Imperial Fists. I wish GW did, too. Hoping and praying the Imperial Fists supplement book returns their old lore and chapter culture to the forefront because shit's dire at this point! It just feels like this:
Me: They have complex emotions and beliefs and are extremely passionate about what they do, which they use pain to temper into apparent stoicism that borders on sensational masochism, all in the name of understanding their primarch.
Games Workshop (doesn't know what siege warfare is): They love to build those walls!
Me: okay!!!
