Sometime I like to think that Starr Park is an utopian city (like Rapture from Bioshock) and an amusement park, too.

(I think this is a stupid idea😅)

I don't think it's stupid! You know how Disney built a themed "perfect" neighborhood? I heard that there is a strict code of conduct here, you have to behave, dress, or decorate your house according to specific guidelines, all in order to create a perfect little disney utopia (it's only for rich people, obviously). It's like they made one of those aesthetic Animal Crossing villages irl, and it's fascinating (and scary).

Well, considering Starr Park is arguably a parrallel to Disney, my personal headcanon is like they want to take over a lot of instances, mostly entertainement and technology, in order to control the populace. When you look at Starr Park by itself, it's a by-the-books amusement park; beautiful, spectacular, but visibly all fake. Contrast this with the pre-Starr Park environnements, which are mostly deserts, toxic wastelands, dark mines... The world outside of Starr Park is SHIT. The park offers some escape to the residents, but at the cost of their free-will.

So personally, I like to think that the Starrs did create this place in order to "brainwash" the people, through the media, technology, economy etc... All of this to rebuild the world in their own image, which is a perfect, clean, fantastic utopia of everlasting joy. And they're well on their way to expand their empire. The cruelest thing about it is that nobody seems to really notice, the Starrs are everywhere, on TV, in your appliances, in your food... but for them, it's just a part of their life, nothing to worry about.

TL;DR Starr Park is only the surface of a massive corporation owned by a mob/cultist (or at least, with a cult mindset) family, and they want to reshape the world for maximum control and profit.

Also also, I like to think the Starrs have no grander purpose. They've just been conditioned since their birth that "expansion" is their way to be. Good little capitalists.
