gabe was born in the spotlight, mainly for being the first child of an nfl star with one of hollywood's most successful actresses. his father, martin peralta, came from lisbon to make his name in the football league and his mother, alice wyatt, was practically born to be a star, making her hollywood debut at the age of ten.

his parents never made much of a point of hiding him from the media, and it was recurrent to find pictures of the boy being picked up at school by his parents and all that stuff. paparazzi have always been constant in gabriel's life, and maybe that's why he hates them these days.

everyone expected him to follow in the footsteps of one of his parents, and there was a lot of anticipation as to whether gabriel would be the new football star or hollywood's new darling. the reality is that, despite being good at sports and enjoying watching his dad play, gabriel was a nerd at heart and had no acting talent whatsoever. he always liked to study and it never crossed his mind to drop out of school to venture into the world of fame.

in time, his two other siblings came along and the media began to let the boy aside a little, which was a relief to him. after finishing high school, he could have the freedom to choose what to do and went to france, with the aim of studying cooking, his greatest passion.
