I don’t know what to name this poem
I want you
But I want you to want me
Kiss my peddles
Not roughly be gentle
To get the reaction you want
Look at how the light touches my stem
How it bounces off my nectar
I give back to you something beautiful and shiny
Now you’re mesmerised
You’re in awe
“How can you be so beautiful?”
Over the simplest things I do?
Over the colors my soul has?
It makes you wanna dive deep into my river
Seek out what makes me this way
Keep me in your embrace until I’m there
Screaming, yelling, whining, moaning and gasping for air
Like there’s no oxygen left
I grab for sunshine with my leaves but I can’t reach it
Scared to touch, cause when are you leaving?;
While I sit wondering how you really feel
In and out of enjoyment and worry
You caress me
You stare me down to pieces
You get closer asking if I can breath
And I shiver and nod
“Don’t worry I’ve got you”
You ease up on your natural pace
Stroking and holding me so tender
My stem melt into legs
Thorns fall off to uncover arms
My peddles fall one by one
Introducing you to warm breast
A throbbing heart beat
Skin so soft and sweaty
Eyes as brown as the center of a sunflower
Skin golden and shimmery under the sun
But my flower between my legs does not change
She only changes color
Due to season, light, energy and love
But she sticks to your skin because you’re far from familiar
I see your eyes amazed at what I’ve become
So you keep this steady pace
My legs wrapped around your strong waste
Arms wrapped around broad shoulders
And skin to skin
Eyes start shining with passion
And you stare deep into them again
As I move
As my face changes and I bite my lip
We both exchange and take nectar from one another
Another seed planted
Another flower in bloom
This is summer time when you’re not blue
