3rd October (I lost the track of the day count)
I had my first classes this week. (Only four of them so far) Some were interesting, some weren’t but what struck me was how early they ended every time. Every lecture is supposed to be 2 hours on the schedule but every one of them has ended so far at least 30 minutes early. Some even 50 minutes, making the class only almost an hour long. This is so short Oo Also I almost never have classes at 8 am so I can sleep in the morning. This is nice.
I’m starting to know the city a bit, I know my main bus stop etc.
This week has only been about drinking beers pretty often with the people from the building. I don’t really enjoy going out in nightclubs so drinking in the flat like this is perfect for me.
I also now have 2 new Chinese roomates (2 girls). Then don’t speak English very well but the main problem is that they seem to be staying in their room all the time and don’t want to go out. And they left tons of hairs in the shower,my roomate and I will have to ask them to clean this shit TT
(Lucachon si tu me lis, coucou ^^)

Day 6-7
So after queuing for 7h during the last 2 days I finally managed to get my student card. Wouhouuuuu !
I also went for a few drinks with some law students I met. We had a nice pizza.
We also decided to create the independant people’s democratic republic of the 4th floor with the people from the flat in front of me. And then we made some memes during the whole evening. Nice.
Here you have the view we can see while on the top of the hill in front of the law faculty:

Day 5-6
I met a lot of people during these days. A lot a nationalities from students from my building or the law faculty. Most of them are German or French but I saw some interesting countries like Australia or Sweden. We had a small party at our flat yesterday where we invited some people from the building to get to know each other a bit. It was pretty funny ^^ And today was the welcome day at the faculty. I queued for more than 3 hours to get my student card and then the office closed just when it was gonna be my turn. Meh. I’m gonna get there tomorrow afternoon to try again.

Day 4: The Wall, Charles Bridge and some rain
Not much to say about today. I saw the beautiful Charles Bridge and the Lennon wall on the evening and then it started raining cats and dogs so I had to come back to my flat.

Czech words of the day
Pardon: I’m sorry. That is, the thing people say when they bump into me.
Neboj: Don’t worry. That is the thing you should answer to the person who bumps into you. And weirdly, it’s the thing that is written on the entrance of the pedestrian tunnel just next to my flat. Weird.
Zvíře Animal. That is what I saw today ^^

Day 3: The Prague Zoo
It appears it’s the 5th best zoo in the world. I don’t know if that’s true but it was indeed a nice one! It was a pretty day, around 20 degrees. We lost about 10 degrees since yesterday. The zoo is a very large one. Despite being on a weekend, it was still calm. I observed it is very kid oriented. There are playgrounds in every corner of the zoo for them.
Here are a few of the animals or interesting things I saw:

While walking back home I saw some kind of festival with lots of people talking about bikes, metro etc. There was also a concert. I discovered it was some kind of district meeting for the “No Car Day” in Prague.
I also saw this nice church I had seen the other day while I was on the top the museum in the Vitkov Park.

Czech words of the day
Dobrý den: Good day. That is, the thing you have to say if you don’t want the people to hate you.
Barevný: Coloured. That is, the word I was looking for on my bottle of shampoo. “Coloured hairs”

Day 2: A missing table, groceries, and a museum

So today while doing the inventory some people from the agency came and took away the small table. Bye bye poor table :’( I discovered the Billa shop near my flat. It’s mainly like our supermarkets at home so it was ok. Except the cashier ladies could use a little smile from time to time. And their beers are so cheap omg. I then went for a walk in the nearby park. I climbed to the top of the hill and there I came across this national museum with a big fucking statue in front of it. I visited the interior of the building and I went on the roof. I could see te whole city, it was very nice. (And a big shout-out to the ladies working there, they were really friendly compared to the other ones)
I’m still alone in my flat. I’m enjoying it for the moment but I’m a bit curious of who my roomates will be.
