Wow. I was able to go to the dpr tour finale and I was super impressed! I’ve only seen Live once, back in 2019. And while I liked his music I honestly wasn’t impressed at all with his performance and stage presence then. I’ve continued to follow dpr’s projects and his music because I do really like it. But the growth is real. He was mesmerizing tonight! It was like a completely different person (I watched my old videos to double check and the difference is insane!!) This was also my first time seeing Ian. I, like many, was a fan of him when he debuted with c-clown way back in my adolescent kpop days. Seeing him perform was super cool. Both of them were so real and emotional. It was such a series of performances unlike anything I’d experienced. Catch a favorite moment of mine below.

Keshi is an odd man out. I didn’t even think that I listened to him that much 😅 he’s just on a lot of my chill/late night playlists I guess. What did your top songs look like? I don’t have Spotify, unfortunately, this is YouTube music! I wish it have a top 10-20 even. I’m curious to see how some of the other artists I know I listened to just as much but have less songs to compare with ranked 🤔

So many cuties performed at their first festival this weekend at RapBeat! D.Ark, TradeL and BE’O were so cute! BIGONE got a lot of love. He had a lot of energy and danced around the stage. A few people cursed at Big Naughty and he handled it well. ChoilB and his peeps hung out and danced in the middle of the park. Ted Park surprised us all and I ran into him and got to meet him. He was super nice. BeWhy also made a sneak attack performance. It was sad seeing Loopy perform alone. I’ve only ever seen him with Nafla or someone else from the gang. Everyone seemed really happy to be on stage and even suffered a lot of rain. Can post some short clips soon!

Long time no post. Went to rapbeat fest this weekend. My first hiphop event since the ph-1 concert in 2020. Everything pretty much shut down after that, but KHH is alive and well. I’m looking forward to more events the rest of the year.

Let’s talk about Vinxen’s growth. The fact that he showed all that skin in the new mv? When he first appeared in High School rapper, even most of his face was covered! I remember the first few times I saw him wear tshirts. Now this? This is growth. Steady growth. Growth that hasn’t been easy, but he hasn’t given up yet either. I’m proud of him.

I finally got a chance to listen to Paul Blanco and Changmo’s album and there are some true bops that I think people are missing out on! My favorite track is Bebe, what about you all? I also thought Changmo was hilarious in his little sns search and he mentioned making history with featuring fly to the sky’s Hwanhee (a classic kpop ballad group) in a hip hop song for the first time.
