I love a finished work. Finally washed, ironed, and ready for the wall! (Oops, had to edit to add pic, I didn't realize the Squonk was hiding under the skeleton!)

I'm officially qualified for this year's Sock madness. I still don't see the point in knitting socks like this, but it was an interesting challenge. Oh, I guess that was the point!

Made some new socks just in time for Valentine’s Day! 🧦💕
Knit them as normal according to my super secret sock recipe, and then used duplicate stitch to add the hearts on. They’re very warm and comfy!
Yarn is Berroco Ultra Wool Superwash worsted!

I made a little guy today. He's just a little guy. He can't sit up on his own, pity him! Tell him he's pretty!

MELVILLE SWEATER DONE I AM CAPTAIN AHAB THIS IS MY WHITE WHALE
pattern is melville sweater by sarabeth hall on ravelry go check it out!!!
some details from the pattern: the raglan shaping (that is, those two lines that are running from the collar that divide the sleeves from the body) spells out s-o-s in morse code, and the waves one the sleeves are fibonacci spaced. i love these details, so cool!!
first colourwork sweater, second sweater ever, first wearable one, i am very happy. the only modification i did was make the sleeves a bit longer (i am tall lol) and did a few more rows for the neck ribbing yay

Two WIPs this week! A polyester sweater and some wool/nylon blend socks.

The sweater will be using the Southwood pattern by Galt House of Yarn. I plan to do the sleeves in gray and the body in purple. I debated doing the ribbing in gray as well, but I don't know if I have enough and yarn chicken is a losing game.
The socks are my first socks! It's the Sock-A-Block pattern from Yarnspirations, but I'm opting for variegated yarn instead of doing colorwork for simplicity's sake. I'm at the heel and I've been too tired to start it, since I'll have to pay attention.
Excited for both!

provisions II beanie is live, but I have to deal with 6" of snow today, so we’ll see if that holds true for me.
