like not even sorry i have to be a killjoy annoying feminist right now but at no point has sabrina carpenter been feminist or subversive. nor will she ever be. she is fully perpetuating the sustained idea that women are solely objects to be viewed, objectified, and fucked. they are sexual beings for male consumption and she is comfortable playing into it. the issue with viewing what she does as empowering is that men will never view it as such. they view it as exactly what they want and she's giving it to them on all fours, willingly. until women are no longer universally seen as objects for male pleasure, there will be no way to reclaim being objects.
