The interesting thing about grief is that it doesn't sneak up on you, it announces every single one of its movements while it stalks you. When it's ready to pounce, it shouts and tells you to brace yourself, and yet you're never prepared, so you get blindsided and you find yourself crying in your kitchen because you remembered something funny that they once said, and you're crying because you miss them but then you start crying because you feel guilty for having moved on too quickly, for not grieving properly. And just like that, you realize you're being silly, so you make yourself stop crying, finish making your food and go on about your day, because there's no way to grieve "properly", there's just grieving, and it comes and goes and all you can do is try to pay more attention to the warnings and be better prepared for the next time it comes for you.

Buena idea: buscar un remedio para curarme la acidez. Mala idea: comerme una banana split porque el helado tiene leche y la leche ayuda contra la acidez.
