your son runs in first with weepy eyes and his little body trembles when the thunder claps, so lip scoops him up and mumbles, “‘ey buddy, the thunder too loud?” your son nods and lip cradles him to his chest before your toddler begins crying in her crib :((

lip would tuck your son into your arms and get up to retrieve his little girl, holding her tight and whispering "'s'alright princess, daddy's here" while he rocks her, and your son snuggles between you two

also kinda unrelated but im thinking about u all going to a fair and at the end of the day in one hand carmen is holding your sleeping daughter and in the other is a big stuffed animal he won for her (he spent so much money on those rigged games but it was worth it to see her smile).
