He gently rubbed his human’s back, shushing him softly as his hand moved in calming circles. Those nightmares were the WORST, even as a Time Lord; he couldn’t even begin to imagine how much they hurt his poor, beloved Metacrisis’s half-human mind.

“How about I carry you to the kitchen and make you some hot chocolate, eh? You LOVE chocolate, right, Doctor? That’ll help you more than coffee would.”

“OH, yes, I know EXACTLY how much you like chocolate. Remember when we took Martha to search for the best chocolate milkshake in the universe?” He laughed. “We can have chocolate ice cream right after our kisses, Doctor.”

Ten slowly leaned in to kiss his boyfriend, making sure to give him time to push him away if he REALLY didn’t want a kiss from his Time Lord yet.

“Okay, fine. ONE KISS. Tha’s all you’re gettin’. You’re goin’ to ‘ave to work a BIT harder if you want more than one, though. You know, ice cream could help. Or—I  don’t know—CHOCOLATE. You know how much I like chocolate.”

There is a smirk on his face, just because he is completely unable to maintain a straight face. But, to be fair, he really,  really, REALLY, wants a kiss right now. Or two. Or a couple thousand.

Ten would just be so ridiculously into dancing with Eleven, especially to silly songs like that. It would probably be the quickest way to calm him down.

A headcanon I have of my Eleven, is that when he’s alone with Ten (aka @gallifreyanconverse) he treis to “lighten the mood” by singing I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston.

“Oh, like you wouldn’t want to try out your latest fancy laser thingy on a big ol’ bear,” he teased, squeezing her hands playfully. “No, Missy, my dearest, darling, best friend in the entire universe, I’m trusting you to scare the bears away! I’ve never met a bear more frightening than you!”

Missy was preoccupied, watching as the TARDIS began working it’s gears to get moving to even notice he was talking to himself again. Shaking her head, she slowly walked over to him and took his hands in her own with a small smirk. “You won’t make me take care of a big ol’ bear if you get scared of it at night, will you?”

“Hm. Well. Looks like they’ve got both of us, then. You wouldn’t happen to remember how to get out, by any chance, would you?”

In all fairness, though, if he had to be stranded with somebody, he was glad it was Eleven. Granted, it was probably best not to be whispering at him in front of the main chief of the group that kidnapped them, but he was rather excited to see him.

“And brilliant’s my thing.”

The Doctor stood in front of the other, trying not to laugh in this serious moment. They’d both been caught snooping around and didn’t know each other were there until they got thrown together. Whilst standing in front of the main chief, he asked how the both of them got here, to which then Ten started to sing.

“Hey! Geronimo is my saying! It’s good to see you again.” But when trying to walk over, the Doctor soon realised that he’d been cuffed from behind and couldn’t move. “Ah, brilliant.”
