You've moved to the void. It's not an especially good place, but the rent is exceedingly cheap, and there's decent jobs in the area. But really you didn't see yourself as deserving the material plane. What have you done to deserve the freinds and family you once had? You can work here, work for happiness so you'll feel you deserve it.
The void is a grim place with an eternally black sky and buildings that are nothing but smooth white geometric shapes. Nobody lives within five miles of your house. Nobody ever has to interact with you. You don't know yet how you really feel about being all alone.
Life gets steadily worse. You miss your freinds from the material plane. You miss seeing a blue sky in the morning. But the void is all your own. Your new house is larger then anything you could own anywhere else. You have all your things. You have stuff to draw with and read, but without your freinds around you don't end up doing that stuff anymore. You watch TV a lot now.
You see creatures in the void sometimes. Diffrent types. Red many jawed serpents. Floating beasts with dagger wings. And those pale creatures with elongated limbs, and those faces that look too human.
You work in a local train station. Most days you're the only person in the station. You tell yourself it's good work. The voices that automate the stations are your freinds now.
The idea of interacting with people seems weird. You don't want to. You want to be alone. When your sad, the idea of someone comforting you becomes scary, eventually you hate the idea of not being sad, being sad is freedom, people that want to make you happy are controlling you.
And you walk every day. Past the forest with trees that will never have leaves. Past the shifting sands near the train station. Past what was once a city millennia ago. All under black sky.
Eventually you start seeing those creatures, the pale ones with the long limbs, they seem to be interested in you. You walk with them more. Touch their pale skin. You'll even eat the bright red serpents that they'll eat. They feel like being with people, but they don't want things from you like people did.
Eventually you feel your limbs getting longer. Eventually you feel yourself getting paler. You're not dumb. You know what's happening. You'll never need to be happy again. And the train station will need a new guard.

Memory Limit
This variant rule is inspired by the Persona series and is meant to be used with [[Technospheres]]. It is meant to facilitate quick switches between Mnemospheres but also constrain the Level of a PC when using Mnemospheres for better game balance.
Mnemospheres can now be switched around with the Use Equipment Action during a conflict but Hoplospheres still cannot.
The Total Level of Mnemospheres being equipped by a Player Character must be equal to or lower than their current Player Level.
Example: Mnemosphere A has 5 Levels and Mnemosphere B has 3 Levels and Character A is currently level 6. Character A has 2 empty slots to fill into their Equipment. However, Character A can not equip both Mnemosphere A and Mnemosphere B as the total Mnemosphere Level of A and B will exceed that of their current Character Level which is 6.

Simplified Weapon Types
This variant rule is inspired by the Persona series, specifically Persona 3, and the [[Pressure & Stagger]] optional rule. It is meant to simplify weapon types to strike physical weaknesses to lessen the amount of equipment that PCs would need to switch around with but also keep weapon categories seperate in terms of skills.
Weapon Categories are now simplified into 4 Damage Types:
- Slashing: Swords, Flails, Daggers - Piercing: Spears, Bows, Firearms - Striking: Brawling, Thrown - Bludgeoning: Heavy, Arcane
If playing with [[Pressure & Stagger]], due to the condensed physical weaknesses of the enemies, the following changes can be applied to to buff them.
- Soldiers and Elites only have 1 pressure point. - Champions have 2 pressure points - Enemies treat their neutral (-) as Vulnerabilities and Resistances (RS) as neutral. - Elites and Champions may gain the Reflect Weapon Affinity Skill or Reflect Element Affinity Skill.

Battle Superiority Redux
Tumblr media
This variant rule is inspired by the Persona series, specifically Persona 5, and the [[Battle Superiority]] optional rule. It is meant to add options to Battle Superiority beyond gaining an extra turn whilst avoiding the possibility of hoarding them.
You gain Superiority Points only through the following ways:
- When a Player Character deals damage to one or more enemies, if one or more of those enemies are Vulnerable to the damage dealt and none of them are Immune, Absorb or Reflect, the Player Character gains a Superiority Point. A Player Character can only generate Superiority Points during their turn, and only once per turn - A Player Character must spend their Superiority Point immediately when they receive them.
A Player Character may spend their Superiority Point in the following ways:
- Once More. The Player Character gains an additional action. - Baton Pass: The Player Character passes their turn to another Player Character. This Player Character may act immediately outside the usual turn order. If that Player Character has already been the subject of a Baton Pass for that round, they may not receive this benefit again until the start of the next round. - Downed: The Enemy gains the downed status effect. Downed enemies suffer the same effects of staggered from [[Pressure & Stagger]] playtest with one change.
Downed: A downed creature recovers from the status effect at the end of the current round and will act first on the next round, regardless if it's a Villain Conflict or not (If playing with Alter Initiative rules). If multiple enemies are currently suffering from downed, all enemies who suffered from downed will act first, ignoring normal-turn order rules.
Like Player Characters, enemies can also gain Superiority Points but may only use Once More or Downed.

Some of you may not listen to or care for K-Pop but please read anyway.
This is Seunghan who was a part of the boy group RIIZE. Two days ago he came back to his group after a very long, unnecessary hiatus (due to being in a relationship and something else not even remotely devious, smoking) and now BRIIZES (name of the fandom) received news that he’s permanently leaving the group. This comes after fake fans of the group (OT6 people) sent funeral wreaths to protest his comeback and he saw them. OT6ers have bullied him out the group and considering SM has failed one of their artists before when they needed protection from malicious intent (may he rest in peace) SM Entertainment is a joke. Please spread the word the OT7 RIIZE is forever and that we’ll never forgive them for this.
Please spread these tags.
