But in reality, she is one of Japan's most elite salarymen, reborn as a little girl after angering a mysterious being X who calls himself "God." And this little girl, who prioritizes efficiency and her own career over anything else, will become the most dangerous being amongst the sorcerers of the imperial army. There is something extremely interesting about movies and shows in which the villain becomes the protagonist and main character of the story. We all are used to seeing the main lead doing the positive role and becoming the hero, instead of the main lead playing a negative role. Some of the famous anime shows that follow the same kind of theme are 'Overlord' and 'Death Note'. Another famous anime that comes under the same engrossing theme is ‘Youjo Senki’, known as Saga of Tanya the Evil where the main protagonist is a villain of the series in the most brilliant ways. This anime has become one of the favorites and is nothing less than an insane show. The anime series follows a 9-year-old evil blonde who is fighting on a battlefield, making the anime series very interesting. Another good thing about the series is that in the first episode fans saw a beautiful mess that left them all confused and engrossed. However, things start falling into place in the second episode and starts making sense. The writer of the light novel is Carlo Zen who along with other creators have made something extremely complex with a mindblowing storyline. The story follows the same theme without drifting away from it and maintains a very serious tone that supports the entire war-centric theme, that includes deaths, grittiness and brutal realities of war that make the show worth it. It was adapted into an anime by Nut studio and aired in Winter 2017 on January 6, 2017. The first season consisted of 12 episodes and received a high score of 8.12 on My AnimeList.After the first season came out in 2017, a movie sequel called ‘Youjo Senki Movie’ was released on February 8, 2019. Because of this amazing movie sequel, fans started hoping to see a second season. Also, there is enough material and content for the creation of a whole new season with 12 episodes. According to an article on Crunchyroll, the show has extended its runtime to 14 more episodes, making the total number of episodes count up to 26. Therefore, we can put our faith in the article published by Crunchyroll, which is a credible site. Therefore, we can hope to see the second installment by the fall and sometime in 2020 or 2021.

Synopsis As Kobayashi sets off for another day at work, she opens her apartment door only to be met by an unusually frightening sight—the head of a dragon, staring at her from across the balcony. The dragon immediately transforms into a cute, busty, and energetic young girl dressed in a maid outfit, introducing herself as Tooru.

It turns out that the stoic programmer had come across the dragon the previous night on a drunken excursion to the mountains, and since the mythical beast had nowhere else to go, she had offered the creature a place to stay in her home. Thus, Tooru had arrived to cash in on the offer, ready to repay her savior's kindness by working as her personal maidservant. Though deeply regretful of her words and hesitant to follow through on her promise, a mix of guilt and Tooru's incredible dragon abilities convinces Kobayashi to take the girl in.

Despite being extremely efficient at her job, the maid's unorthodox methods of housekeeping often end up horrifying Kobayashi and at times bring more trouble than help. Furthermore, the circumstances behind the dragon's arrival on Earth seem to be much more complicated than at first glance, as Tooru bears some heavy emotions and painful memories. To top it all off, Tooru's presence ends up attracting several other mythical beings to her new home, bringing in a host of eccentric personalities. Although Kobayashi makes her best effort to handle the crazy situation that she has found herself in, nothing has prepared her for this new life with a dragon maid.
