a desperate romantic, one lonely night.

the wind blows and echoes through the hollows of my home

i warm my fingertips in the lukewarm bath, soaked to the bone with my complacency

i ache to feel the heartbeat of another, the presence of soul

id wish for the sound of someones breath, just to know im not alone

the fire cracks in the living room, i singe my skin to replicate your touch

its not enough, i yearn for footsteps down the hall, id yearn for anything at all

Hello everyone, today is February 1st 2017. Today i'm also making my second entry on my new Tumblr page. I chose The soup dragons divine thing for musical frame for this entry as a metaphor to love and life itself. I think love, just like life is such an amazing but fragile thing. Today i feel a bit melancholic thinking of past loves and lovers. (Not that there have been that many) but I see on each of those opportunities for learned lessons, cherrished memories and in which ways each experience turned me into a better stronger person. Some left their mark on my life for better or worse but the one constant truth is this: love and life are such a divine thing. Enjoy what's left of your day and as i will say on all my entries, say hello! I'm looking for friends and would love to read and compare experiences!

Hello everyone! Today is a special day. I just created my tumblr account & this is my first post. I chose to open my blog with a song: one day by matisyahu for various reasons. First, music is the language in which a soul can express everything, every emotion every desire from the sublime down to the everyday mundane. Second, this song gives out a powerful mesage i happen to believe in and would love to see happen one day. Call me a dreamer, but there's a bit of a dreamer in all of us. I am not an experienced blogger so i'm a blank canvas, i'll pour & share from the heart or the quarry of my emotions as i travel through life with whoever wishes to follow me and be not just a follower but also a friend. I have no idea if there is a protocol to run this app on posting entries or how frequent my entries are going to be but I hope y'all enjoy it!
