I would very much like to see like a tv show or something where acclaimed professional musicians compete to make the WORST possible song, I'm genuinely curious to see if they could do it due to their theoretical knowledge of the craft or if their musical prowess would undermine their ability to intentionally underperform

I feel like nothing encapsulates better how desperate gaming nerds (read: Nintendo fans) were to be taken seriously around like 2010ish than how they used to view Mega Man robot masters. Basically if you aren't a super awesome cool guy who shoots fire and bombs you were "bad". Crash Man has a goofy helmet so he's bad. Wind Man is round so he's bad. Junk Man is "literally TRASH!!!! HA!! HA!!" God forbid you were one of the silly ones to balance out the cast of cool guys. What I'm trying to say is Sheep Man is cool.

I think about multiverse movies like the new Spiderverse so much, and particularly how some Spider-men (or whatever character) have normal ass jobs in their multiverse terminal space base. Like you got a Spider-man therapist, a Spider-man directing traffic. How little is going on in traffic director Spider-man's universe where he has time to stand around on some 9-5 instead of beating up a dude in a rhino suit. It just feels so sad that in the infinite multiverse some of these guys that SURELY have as much valid feeling and heroic purpose as the other Spider-men are reduced to so little. I need to fucking know what traffic director Spider-man went through to get to that point in his life. So much to think about (im being fucking autistic

Just llearned about that Sega gacha game where they won the console wars and made a Sega dystopian dictatorship and I can't help but think that at least if I lived in that world if I walked up to people and said "Altered Beast" they would respond normally instead of going "what? fucking nerd" and then caving my skull in with a hammer
