Woo-hoo! My other pumpkins plant is finally sprouting right on time! I was getting worried because the others grew so fast.

These three are growing super fast! Unfortunately my pumpkin pot on the far left isn't sprouting. I think it may be stunted seeds :c oh well, nothing to do about that. I've still got at least 4 pumpkin sprouts and 7 watermelon sprouts! I'm considering transplanting 2 of the pumpkin sprouts to their own pot. Will most likely do that tommorow.

The snow is starting to melt, so it's finally my favourite time of the year again! Early gardening season! Fortunately I had enough potting soil left from last year for four pots! On the left, I have Greybelle watermelons, something new I'm growing and on the right, I have Atlantic Giant Pumpkins; which I grew last year and had gotten one, large, healthy, and oh so delicious pumpkin from. (I still have a bag of frozen pumpkin puree on my freezer from it!) Anyways! I have approximately 5 seeds in each pot, to ensure at least one sprout grows and they're only placed 2.5cm deep in the soil, and to help with growth, I have sprinkled a small amount of sugar on top of each pot. Now all I need to do is water them and wait. We should see watermelon sprouts in about a week, and pumpkin sprouts in about 20 days.
